We contracted with Timberman Roofing to replace our roof in March 2024. In preparation, we made appointments with four companies to come out and review what was being requested, address questions we had, and provide a quotation. Only two of the project managers (including Augy Gavenda for Timberman) actually walked the roof to see how bad the current roof was and see if there were any special situations, like a flatter part of our roof that handles a large quantity of runoff coming from a valley in the roof above. We received quotations from the four companies of which one was considerably more expensive than the other three. The remaining three were within $1K of each other.

Just to be sure we were comparing apples to apples, we made sure that all of the quotations included similar items such as a water proof barrier, similarly warranted shingles and venting, similarly warranted labor and roof replacement, etc. Where there were differences, we asked for and received clarifications so that we could fairly compare the three quotes.

We selected Timberman Roofing to replace our roof. They were the middle quotation of the three, but they had very high online ratings and Augy seemed to be more detail minded to us. He was quick to return our
emails and calls. My wife commented about how courteous he was when she contacted him to ask a question. Our search began in November of 2023 and we finally were scheduled to have our roof installed in March of 2024.

The crew that Timberman used to replace our roof worked extremely well together. They cleared the old roof and got the new roof installed in roughly two days, including installing some new flashing and siding that
the wildlife had made a mess of. Both of my next door neighbor's commented about how hard the crew worked and how coordinated they were to make the job go efficiently. When they were done, they cleared all of the remaining waste and were so meticulous about getting up loose
nails that I have only found one since they left.

There were some additional costs above the fixed quotation, which we knew could be the case. Because of the age of our roof, a fairly large number of plywood sheets had to be replaced, some joists needed partial
reframing, and there were other wood items that had to be replaced. We had figured the actual cost could be as much as 10% over the base quotation and were pleased that the total was slightly less than that.

All in all, we are happy that we selected Timberman Roofing to install our new roof. Augy was great to work with throughout the whole process. We highly recommend Timberman to anyone who needs a new roof.

Quick and responsive for 3-story townhouse. Logan took care of the project management and provided a reasonable and accurate quote that included all the add ons that we discussed (trim repair, secondary water barrier). I was kept well informed of the schedule and delivery of materials. The job was completed in one day. The mess was cleaned up and we are very happy with our new Timberman roof!! Highly recommended!!

I want to thank you guys for an awesome job you did on my roof replacement! It was quick and easy, the guys showed up early finished the job quickly and cleaned up after! The crew was very respectful and cautious around some items I couldn't move.

The free wind mitigation inspection after roof replacement is just a topping! Specially with the rising insurance cost a quality roof is a must to lower premium.
The warranty and craftsman ship is top notch! After the roof was complete Augy advised me that I can directly call him if there any issues or if any future repairs needed. That's at first! Usually you can't get a hold of anyone after you pay them. Ignacio (foreman) stayed in touch through entire process, so I knew how many sheets were replaced and if there were any additional concerns outside the roof.

Timberman has done two roofing jobs for is, one for a house we were selling and one for the house we currently live in. Both times they were able to get us on their schedule within a few weeks, and knocked the job out in one day! Austin is very responsive, answered all of our questions, and went out of his way to make sure our roof was done to our satisfaction. We had a few weather delays, but each time the company reached out to me to communicate the schedule change. The crew that showed up on the day of the job were professional, extremely hard workers, and seemed happy to be here! We are very happy with our new roof and the experience that we have had with Timberman Roofing. I would definitely use them again, and recommend them to anyone needing a roof or roof repair.

Timberman Roofing did an awesome job replacing my roof. Their bid was in line with the 3 other bids and they were one of the first to provide a bid. The replacement was very organized, the shingles and dumpster were delivered, and they were scheduled to start the next day, but the weather didn't cooperate so they came the following day. They had a great crew of 12 working and they started at 8 am and were done by 4 pm. The next morning at 9 am the dumpster was removed. The roof looks great, and we are very pleased with the whole process. I highly recommend Timberman Roofing,,,, great job guys!

Timberman Roofing did an excellent job on my roof.

I had seen them working on another home ding roof repairs/shingle replacement. The work force that they had seemed to have gotten the job done quickly with an outstanding looking final product. A few months later a storm hits and I sprung a leak which lead me to reaching out to them to get a quote on a roof replacement. I decided to go with them after calling two other companies. Their timeline for repair beat the others.

Due to multiple homes requiring roof repairs, it did take longer than expected to get the materials to my property and then get them installed. When asked, they were reassuring and explained that there was a shortage on getting material to the area and that they were expeditiously working to knock out each home as the material came in. That professional and concise communication was much appreciated as a homeowner customer.

Total cost was approximately $7K, which was close to the quoted estimate. I now have that peace of mind knowing that my roof has been repaired and now protected from further water damage barring no crazy hurricane/storm hits the area.

I do recommend this business if in need of a roof replacement. They have great communication, reasonably priced, and get the job done in a timely manner.
