These people are flakes,, First they schedule an appointment to come to my home to estimate a roof repair. They gave me a date and a window of time for the estimator. I take off work they missed the time schedule. I call them to ask what is going on why are they late., the lady I spoke to the first time basically blew me off basically saying they cant do anything or even look at my roof until fall. Expressing they are too busy.. I said that's fine,, lets get it scheduled today so i don't get pushed further back when you have time to repair it in fall. She kept insisting they can't do any repairs until fall. I said that is fine, but please look at the roof, estimate the time for repair and put into your schedule in fall when you have time. She kept saying they were to busy.. Apparently they don't wan any work and i still question if this lady was inebriated.. If not she defiantly cant comprehend what schedules are for.

And then add 'insult to injury' i get a call from a person identifying himself as Tim Jones from 916-791-0408 threatening me, very rudely, 'if i don't remove my review'. Now i am thankful i did not end up with this contractor working on my roof.. I have a dreaded felling things would have ended up south very quickly.

Tim Jones Roofing came in and finished our roof in two days. The crew was very organized and left our yard very clean. Ricardo the foreman kept in contact with us at all times so we had no surprises. The work was excellent, Ricardo took care of any extras we asked for and the price was pretty much mid-stream when compared to other contractors. I would definitely use Tim Jones Roofing again.

Tim responded right away to my Yelp inquiry and offered to look at pictures I took of my roof leak. He put me on a waiting list and set the expectation that it would be a while - perfectly understandable in a crazy-wet rainy season. Other roofers were booked out even further and some wouldn't even return calls.
I got a phone call the day before he had a crew ready to come look at my roof. They showed up and were very friendly and helpful. They got right to work, let me see the damage before they repaired it, had me inspect their work before they left, and left no mess or other sign that they had been there.
I will absolutely use Tim Jones Roofing again.

I used Yelp to get numerous quotes for a new roof and chose this company based on the good reviews and quoted price. I'm very glad I did because Tim Jones roofing did everything right. Sherri was super communicative and the crew that came out were very professional I really can't complain about anything.

My husband and I are very grateful for the referral to Tim Jones we received. We wanted to have our old roof torn off, the attic dormer removed, and a new roof installed of course.
Tim was very prompt in returning our phone calls and coming out to view our roof to give us a quote. He was honest about the work we did and did not need. His pricing is very competitive, especially for the quality and speed of work done.
His crew started bright and early about 7:30am. They let us know they would probably be done the following day. They worked diligently; only stopping for lunch and to keep us updated in their progress.
They were finished by 4pm and even swept my porch before they left!

Just called for a quote and got fast, friendly service. The gal in the office quickly set me up with an appointment time for Tim to come out and give me an estimate. Sure beats the other three contractors I've called who never call me back or show up. I'm very hopeful so far!

Here is a quick review for a quick roof repair. I can't comment to the full roof jobs.

We had a minor leak in a 3/2 on a rental in Rocklin. Tim and his company were very quick to pick up the call and schedule the work to be done. It turned out there was a broken tile, while they fixed that broken tile as well as another broken tile on another portion of the roof.
Repair estimates are free, and if the repair is minor, there is a flat fee for the immediate repair. I won't quote the fee here as it may change in the future, but I felt it was very reasonable, especially considering I didn't need to make a second appointment.
I was so impressed with the work and timeliness, I hired them for a roof inspection for my 2 story home in Roseville. (no leaks, but want to proactively address any small issues).

We received 6 bids on our roof replacement. Tim Jones roofing was 9% higher than our lowest bid. After considering all the bids we selected Tim Jones roofing, as I was convinced he was best of the six. He came out on Tuesday to strip our old tile roof (complicated roofing structure) & finished our 4400 SF roof on Friday. I have been confirmed that my selection of Tim Jones roofing was the best choice I could have made.

I wanted to get a second opinion and called Tim Roofing to get a roof leak inspection. The company had three good reviews on Yelp and is BBB accredited, so I thought they must provide good service. On the phone, I wasn't told it would cost $180 minimum JUST to have someone come look at it, but rather that Tim charges $180 minimum for his work; my interpretation is that if I choose to use their service, it's a minimum cost of $180, plus their website does state ""FREE ESTIMATES"".

Today, someone (I presumed was Tim) showed up 30mins before the appt time, but did not call to inform me. He spent about 10mins on the rooftop, came down, and said could not find the problem. He went back up, spent another 15mins with a lot of thundering sounds, and said the problem had been fixed. He noted the problem was due to two broken tiles, which he replaced. I had my doubt that two broken tiles could cause two streaks of 8' watermarks, plus his troubleshooting was inconsistent with the first inspection I got.

I was going to offer to pay for the replaced tiles, but instead he said they will bill me $180. I explained I had wanted an estimate and wasn't told there is a charge for him to come out. He said he only gives free estimates for work exceeding $180. He got angry and said, 'you know what, whatever!', then walked away. I was dismayed by his attitude and lack of professionalism. If that is how he does business, I would not have called and if I could, would give them zero star. I better not get billed for this. Save yourself the trouble and try other roofers who are happy to give you a free estimate and professional service. Their website's ""FREE ESTIMATES"" is false advertising.

12/2/14 UPDATE: I did not get billed for the service and the inquiry has been resolved.
