hired for ""roof restoration"" which was to include a thorough inspection of the roof to ensure tiles all in place/fastened correctly, up to 15 tiles to be replaced, power wash & seal then their ""coating"" (plot twist, its off the shelf behr paint from HD, nothing special) to be applied. day 1 they power washed, dragged one of their old generators across my back concrete and left a permanent black scuff mark about 5 ft long...day 2 came out, left a ton of broken tiles and from what I can tell, purposely moved tiles they broke to an area at the top of my pitch not easily seen, and left several others out of correct placement. At this point they thought they were done and were seeking payment until I pointed everything out. Mark stomped off with a shitty attitude, presumably about having to complete the job he was hired for. The next day (because they just didnt show up) I noticed that several areas were not even coated + additional tiles broken/displaced. I sent several pictures outlining the concerned areas and he ignored my messages. When they showed up the next day I asked if he wanted me to walk the house with him or if I could trust that they would complete the thorough inspection that would easily identify the areas I saw from ground level, he looked up at me, shook his head and then walked away, never acknowledging me. I was livid at the blatant disrespect and we exchanged no words before I left the house. 0/10 wouldnt recommend. Horrible service, and the proprietary BS he sells on his website is just Home Depot behr paint that any handyman or painting contractor with a sprayer
can apply, at likely a lower cost + without the unprofessionalism and having to nag to do the job correctly.

Reach out to Mark in regards to having him assessed our roof going off a posting advertised looking for best options and recommendations on roof maintenance and repairs on
roof discrepancy needed instead of having our roof completely replaced with cost more expensive 3 times the amount o restoration and knowing Mark mention all work is back up with warranty it has not held up to the warranty and promised. Ask Mark for a invoice said it be email and weeks after never give me a invoice for service complete of work

Have try to reach Tile Magic. After many attempts to contact Mark in regards noting lots of issues with roof after purpose of service was initially repaired roof discrepancy and restoration never has answer calls, text , or emails. Will be sending a letter next see if get things resolved.

We inquired about the roof restoration process as we wanted to change the whole look and theme of our house. Mark came by with 3 different samples of roof tile colors for us to choose from. We didn't like any of the first three colors, so we asked more specifically to try and match a color from Bear that we liked.

He took that swatch to his manufacturer and came back with the exact color we wanted. We are very pleased with the way it turned out and have already referred a few neighbors. Tile Magic was very meticulous in masking our property and concrete for potential overspray.

We had a fantastic experience with Tile Magic and recommend them.

Tile Magic did a great job and Mark was very easy to work with. I first submitted my request via a social media ad I had run into. Mark then emailed me and he was able to give me a quick and efficient estimate fairly quickly. I then (like probably most of you), turned to Yelp for status on Tile Magic reviews and was very disappointed. I waited and didn't call Mark for at least 2 weeks. I really didn't see any other roofing companies out there that were painting roofs and showed pictures of their work. So I decided to give him a shot and hired him to do the job. The job consisted of replacing several broken roof tiles and painting my entire roof. The color we chose was black and we are very satisfied with the color and workmanship. I've worked with a lot of contractors on remodels both at my previous home and my current home over the span of 25 years, and they are not easy to deal with, they don't know how to communicate, and are always asking for more money. I was actually shocked that Mark did not ask me for any money up front and he didn't ask for any money until he completed the job. Overall we were very happy with our new painted roof. I have no idea how long the paint is going to hold up, but it looks good and we are currently happy!

We recently used Tile Magic to restore our roof and they did a great job. They arrived on time everyday, explained the process, and completed the job in a timely manner. We utilized one of their black paint colors that has a brown undertone called ""Monument "" in case you like the color and use them to restore your roof. The only issues we had were a few roof tiles broke through the process that they glued back vs replaced and some of the roof paint got on our windows and sunroof that we will have to get off ourselves, however overall they did a great job, the house looks great, and we highly recommend them.

It appears that I am not the only one that Mark stiffed. We paid in full for tile restoration plus fixing of 2 leaks, which apparently were not fixed and are still leaking during the last heaving rain here in OC. Called and texted Mark many times without any responses.

Mark of tile magic is not to be trusted. He attempted to fix our roof, but the roof still leaks! He came back to try and fix his crapy work and still same leaky results. He will not return my call anymore, so I filed with the bbb....still nothing! It's pouring today and leaking like crazy!!! He won't return our calls, so my husband called from a business line that he wouldn't recognize. This time he picked up! My husband called him out on his work and asked him to come fix it. He Yelled at my husband and even threatened to him! He said, ""you want me to come over and kick your ass!?!"" Unbelievable!

One more thing: when he initially did the work he brought two large dogs with him without asking for my permission. He had the dogs running free and pooping and peeing all over my backyard while my dog was stuck inside and very upset about the dogs in HER yard. I told him that he needs to move his dogs so my dog can finally go outside to pee. He put his dogs inside his pickup truck for the rest of the day. Not. Ok. I expected him to take them home and then come back to finish the job, but no. Those poor animals!!!

Never completed the work and got mad when questioned areas or concerns on roof dose very bare minimum. I wouldn't even call them professional. Don't recommend using them. Doesn't answer phone calls after they cash the check.

Can't recommend the Tile Magic team enough. From always showing up on time and working hard to get the job done correctly. The work was carried out professionally and quickly by them - they even followed full covid / social distancing protocols ( always wearing mask and gloves ). They make sure none of the debris they carried out would end up in our house. When they left everything was totally clean.


No matter which roofers you may considering. Definitely reach out to this company once.

I rarely take the time to write a review but in this case, I will make an exception since I think the negative reviews for Tile Magic were from non-existent people where a competitor used a robotic program to create phony reviews (a common practice used by some competitors). Mark and his staff did an outstanding job power washing our terracotta roof in San Dimas (approx. 2200 square foot home), repainting the tiles and vent pipes, and then resealing the roof with a 10-year guarantee warranty. They also did a GREAT job cleaning up, something many contractors fail to do after the job is done. Our neighbors were blown away by our restored roof and several of them hired him to do their respective roofs. Of all the contractors we have used in the last 30 plus years, his services were the BEST and the price was beyond reasonable. We are using his company in the upcoming weeks to resurface our driveway and we know his services will be exemplary again. I'm a perfectionist who drives contractors crazy with my nit-picking. Mark and his staff surpassed my expectations big time!
