My wife and I needed a new roof after 30 + years . Although it looked it's age it did not begin to leak until the last two years . We called around and got several quotes , my sis-in law gave me the "" Roofing Lady's "" number . I decided to do my due diligence and look her up on the web and loved all the positive things about her and her company that I read . I scheduled with her an appointment , Xochitl came out to look at and evaluate my roof and I was immediately impressed with her professionalism . She was upfront about everything , quite knowledgeable about her product and what she could do for us . We told her what we wanted and within a couple of days had a quote for us . There was something that was reassuring about her and what the finished product would look like , and her quote was within what I expected to spend , so I decided to go with her Company . Our start date was Scheduled but unfortunately we were delayed by the rain . Once they got started the entire process was seamless , her crew had my old roof taken down in no time and cleaned up after each days work . I was like a kid getting a new toy as I watched the process of our new roof being installed . Xochitl stayed in contact with me throughout the entire process and I have to say that she and her crew did a phenomenal job ! Our new roof is absolutely BEAUTIFUL !!! it has totally changed the look of our home . Our color match , shades of light & dark brown and the style we chose , the Presidential were perfect for our home . My only complaint is that her company does not offer other types of contracting work , just roofing . I would definitely use her for all of my contracting needs . Needless to say , I HIGHLY recommend Xochitl , "" The Roofing Lady "" of Long Beach for your roofing needs . WE LOVE OUR NEW ROOF !!! & are very happy we found Xochitl . Carl C , Inglewood

We never got to use her services because she went to look at our tenants roof and told me the whole thing needs to be replaced. I asked for an estimate which she never sent. When I called back they had no record of going even though I spoke to the lady while she was at the property the day she told me it needed to be replaced. I then got several quotes after her, all said that we still had a few years left to replace it and fixed the problematic area. Did not have a god experience.

We were remodeling our fireplace/fireplace insert area and found we had a decent leak around the fireplace at the flashing in Nov. I had 5 people come and give estimates. The Roofing Lady, Xochitl Arango, was not the least expensive but she was: (1) very thorough, (2) took photos that she showed me what must be fixed and what else she suggested needed to be repaired, and (3) put everything in writing. She was the only one who took photos vs. just telling me what needed to be done - she showed me the issues and problems and didn't shout it down from on top of the roof to me on the ground. She also she wrote it all down and kept in email contact and kept in contact is no small feat during a SoCal (somewhat unexpected/early) rainy season.

She also went above and beyond because we needed to have the fireplace roof fixed before the end of the month of December, but were going to be out of town for 2 weeks. She absolutely kept in contact and then sent me photos of the finished work while we were on the East Coast. It has rained very heavily since the repairs and we have had no problems. She also matched the roofing well enough that it is hard to tell there was a patch. I highly recommend her!

I would highly recommend the roofing lady. She was communicative, trust worthy and professional. She came to the property within 24 hrs of the call and completed the job within 2 days. She is amazing at what she does and best of all she is HONEST. Don't let others roofers rip you off. Call her for a second opinion like I did and you will be surprised by her service. She took pictures before and after and keep me informed at all times.

We are very pleased with our new roof and Xochitl Arango and her crew. Xochi helped us understand what we were working with and helped inform our decision. We added dormers and she gave us options to do Title 24 roofing with Corning or with GAF who had a darker color we liked better.
The only reason she doesn't get 5 stars was the price was higher than we wanted to pay, but what we agreed upon from the get go. I'm a very high maintenance customer and she was very receptive and helpful with my questions.
I could tell she was great, would do a great job, and communicate well. There were some extra nails we kept finding, and the GAF packaging left something to be desired as the plastics strips have also been found throughout our yard for the last few months, but not sure if there's anything that could have been done about that. Her foreman went above and beyond and helped our elderly neighbor get her old (eyesore) satellite dish off her roof, and without asking he did the thorough thing and sealed up the holes it left in her roof. He even cut the hanging cables that bothered us for years (though we never mentioned them to our neighbor).
You get what you pay for.
