We requested a quote a few years ago and we're unable to move forward with the project at the time. We requested another quote two years later, and while other companies increase their quotes dramatically, The Roof Masters quote was only slightly increased due to material cost increases.
We were able to talk with two others who had their roofs done a few years back and said their speed, communication, and quality were excellent.
We proceeded with the work and we're very pleased. Communication was excellent, Rigo made some recommendations about improvements for better summer cooling.
The crew was very respectful and cleaned up each day after they finished. With the exception of a few nails we found in the bushes weeks later, they did an amazing job.
When the job was complete, they showed us before and after photos so that we could understand what was completed.
Overall, we were very pleased with the price and the service!

My sales rep (Jhonny) was very informative, and responded to all of my questions and concerns in a timely manner. The Roof Masters just finished re-roofing our asphalt shingle roof and did a great job. They also added additional O'Hagin vents. The City inspector approved both the pre and final inspection straight away. Rigo did a great job providing the estimate and was the main contact. Gilbert was the foreman and the 3 Daniel's finalized the project in the estimated time. Thanks for providing us with a great new roof.

I was referred to The Roof Masters and Johnny Martinez in particular by a good friend. The Roofmasters is the literally the best roofing company in North County San Diego. A family run business with the best people! Jhonny has done repairs on my roof in the past. When I decided to get solar panels on my roof , I also needed to have the roof replaced, so I looked to Jhonny and the Roofmasters to have the roof replaced. Jhonny was the project manager. He is awesome! I will never use anyone else for any roofing issues until I have called Jhonny and the Roofmasters. Pedro was the foreman and did an excellent job on my roof in a very timely matter, cleaned up every day prior to quitting time. The crew were professional hardworking and I love the results. An extra bonus is they do solar as well partnered with Sunpower, the number one solar rated solar company in the USA. I can't say enough great things about Jhonny and the Roofmasters! Thanks again

The Roof Masters was easy to work with and did a great job removing and replacing the entire roof on the house. They were responsive during the entire process, from when I first contacted them, during the work, and through completion. The crew was extremely hard working, and did a really nice job. The roof looks great, and best of all it doesn't leak any more!

One minor complaint is that after the job was done there were more nails in the yard, and around the house, than expected. After spotting several nails, I bought a magnetic sweeper and ultimately collected over 2lbs of roofing nails. The helpful information page they sent prior to the work starting did say that it's hard to get all of them, but I didn't anticipate so many. Tarps or drop clothes would have been a worthwhile add-on.

In spite of that, I would happily hire The Roof Masters again!

Our existing roof was approx 30 years old. It held up great as far as I'm concerned. We wanted to add solar panels to the roof, so of course we knew a roof relay was in order. You don't buy new shiny rims for an old clunker right? So I went on Yelp and looked up roofing companies. The Roof Masters was the only company I called that offered the Titanium UDL 50 in lieu of traditional roof felt paper #40. Surprisingly it was newer technology and a better value than going the old school route. The 50 year warranty on the Titanium Udl, plus the warranty behind The Roof Masters also helped confirm our choice in this company. Doug was the representative who came to quote my job, he used a drone to assess the roof condition, and show me what the roof actually looked like from above.

I wanted to make sure they would work in conjunction with the Solar company, and they both coordinated timeframes and everything turned out great. About the time of Installation, I found out Doug was no longer with the company. I was informed that Rudy the Owner would address any issues that I had. The crew was prompt and professional, however I was not happy with how a few of the crowns turned out. A few were sloppy and left natural cement color when my roof is A grayish-brown. I called Rudy the owner and he told me not to worry he'll send someone out to fix my concerns. Sure enough, he sent out two gentleman who cleaned up the few crowns that I pointed out and they pulled off one tile to take to Home Depot to color match my tile. They came back and painted my crowns and now the Roof looks amazing! It hasn't rained or been on for more than a couple months, but so far so good!

I would advise if you have rain gutters, talk to the foreman beforehand to use gutter guards on their ladders. Unfortunately, I didn't ask in time and a few areas were nicked and scraped up by the ladders. Rudy did offer to have the foreman touch up the rain guttters if I provided the paint sample, so that was helpful.

There was not a single person that I dealt with in the company who was not kind and professional. The fact that the Owner Rudy called me back to resolve my concerns speaks volumes. I don't expect every company I work with to be 100 percent perfect, however great customer service goes a long way! Rudy came through with his word in a timely manner. I have since referred TRM to a friend with the same floor plan as mine and I am happy to continue to refer this company to friends and family.

First things first I want to thank Jhonny for being so quick since it was totally a last minute inspection we needed. We are currently in escrow and our agent Patrick didn't hesitate to refer us to the Roof Masters. I would highly recommend them if you are in need of just an inspection or a quote they are super friendly and reliable.

Very pleased with my new asphalt shingle roof and recommend this company. They handled everything including obtaining a permit which I requested, and it passed county inspection. The office staff are pleasant and efficient, work completed on time and clean up well done. Despite 90-degree weather, the roofers worked hard and through the weekend to complete the job. Rigo was my estimator and responsive to my many questions during the decision-making process, which took me a couple weeks!

I had 4 different companies do estimates. Each did a physical inspection and roof measurements. They all had slightly different approaches to roofing, making estimate comparison challenging. I researched proposed materials, licenses, BBB ratings, Yelp reviews, cost estimating, warranties, etc. since it was my first time replacing an entire roof.

One estimator had an expired license. Another estimator was 2 1/2 times more expensive initially (Gucci roof!) and still 50% more than others on a basic roof. I'm sure they would have done a good job but not affordable for me. Roof Masters and one other company came in with fairly equal estimates, but slightly different products. I chose Roof Masters as they checked all my boxes from research and preferred their product used, their time frame to start and complete, and Rigo gave me great assurances he would take good care of me and the roof.

They gave me a senior discount which was awesome. There was 1 change order due to some rotted plywood (which I expected) resulting in a cost increase from the initial estimate, which I was informed at the initial contact this may happen. Despite this, the end price was still in the ballpark and better than a couple of estimates without change orders.

They know their business and it is well run. Thank you Rigo and Roof Masters crew.
