Growing up, I aspired to be successful in something. When I was five, I found a love for sales. My sales journey began by canvassing in my local, offering spaghetti tickets for the neighborhood Fire Department.|My sales journey started by door knocking in my neighborhood, selling spaghetti tickets for the local Fire Department.|I kicked off my sales career by going door to door in my local, offering spaghetti tickets for the neighborhood Fire Department. During my first outing, I was bitten by a dog and was hurried to the hospital. You might think that after such a shocking experience, I would not return to door knocking. However, you would be mistaken! Even as a child, I had a resilient spirit, refusing to give up! Something inside me told me that very little in life comes easy, except giving up. Thus, I headed out the very next day, using crutches and a cast, to follow that passion deep within me. From age five until seventeen, I was constantly selling different products. No matter what, whether it was fruit, books, candy, apparel, or holiday treats, I offered it. Growing up in a trailer park was a gift.
