Our plumber indicated the water heater stopped working because rain water was entering the exhaust vent pipe on the roof which caused the burner to fail. I called several roofing companies and none of them would come out because the job was too small and they all had minimum repairs of $2,500. The Roof Experts were the only company I found that was willing to do the work. They also performed preventative maintenance on the roof at no extra charge. I was very satisfied with the work performed and will definitely use them again.

I have never personally met Kurt but he was recommended to me by a prominent real estate agent in the Valencia area for a minor roof repair in Porter Ranch. He was friendly over the phone, price was reasonable and he was quick to schedule the repair. The problem is the roof still leaks and I have called numerous times with no answer and no call back. This is very unprofessional. I understand this was not a big job but it was not properly fixed.

We had a roof leak that entered into the den on our second floor and ran down a wall into the ceiling of a room on the ground floor. Unfortunately, we learned about it during the recent heavy rains. We contacted Kurt based on the yelp reviews. He and his foreman were able to diagnose the problem based on their repair of a similar problem in the neighborhood a couple years ago. While it was a complicated diagnosis and repair due to the architecture of the roof, they were able find the sources of the leak, fix the waterproofing underlayment, and replace broken tiles. They completed all of the work in a day and at a very reasonable price. Kurt had his crew also determine how pigeons and rats may have accessed our attic and closed up the area, but did not increase his original estimate. I'm sure he was quite busy with projects during the recent rains, but Kurt was very responsive to our initial contact and throughout the process. He took the time to explain the problem and answer all of my questions. And it appears the fix was successful as we didn't have any issues during the heavy storm that came after the repair. We would definitely recommend Kurt and his team.
