Manuel replaced my tar and gravel flat roof back in June for 2020. It was in Daly City.. I was putting solar panels on so it didn't want to have the roof problem. The price was more than fair. He was on time and cleaned up daily. I felt confident in recommending him to my friends mother Inlaw.

Last year, I had a leak and Manual and his crew came out on Thanksgiving to address it. He was prompt and did a great job of patching the roof. I just had him out again to look at the roof and see if I needed additional work before the rains hit. He was responsive and prompt and gave me an honest assessment. Highly recommend him.

I recommend Manuel and Last Detail Roofing to anyone! I'd give him six stars if I could! We had a leak in our kitchen ceiling. I contacted Last Detail Roofing and three other roofing contractors. Manuel offered a reasonable proposal for fixing the leak, whereas others wanted to inflate the job (and the price!). One even tried to sell me a new roof, which was completely unnecessary. I'm so glad to have found an honest and reliable roofing contractor, and I agree with others who have rightly described Manuel as a hidden gem!

Manuel is a hidden gem. I called him after the first guy I contacted flaked on me and stood me up. I had a leaky light well that was flooding my basement during the heavy rains. Manuel came over the same day I called, assessed the problem, and proposed a simple, elegant and affordable solution. We scheduled the repair 3 weeks out (lots of people with leaks this winter!) and when the time came he was prompt, efficient and courteous. He made the repair quickly and for the lower end of his estimate. I found him very responsive to my questions and concerns. I will be calling him when my (older) roof is ready for replacement.

It all started so well, Manuel was responsive, visited our home, provided a reasonable quote. I gave the go ahead for the work, then nothing. Calls and texts with no response at all for over three weeks. Now I have to start all over again.

Manuel said he'd show up between 12:30-1:30. He texted me in the morning to confirm and I asked him if he would be here right at 12:30 because I had a sick baby that needed fresh air. He never responded. Assuming service people are usually late, I needed to go out. He texted me 21 minutes before he was supposed to be there and said he was at my house waiting. I told him I was rushing home and would be 5-10min late. He then asked what I needed done. We need a small sealant. I think he wasn't thrilled that we didn't have a big money-making job, so he left. I arrived home at 12:35, and he was long gone. Horrible service.

After a couple weeks of rain, we were experiencing a leak which we assumed was due to a roof issue. Manuel Garcia from The Last Detail Roofing replied to my inquiry on Yelp within 15 minutes, and we were able to schedule an appointment for the next day. A number of other roofers I contacted either never responded or were booked weeks out (even for just an initial consultation).

Manuel was prompt (in fact a bit early, but he called first to make sure it was convenient for me), courteous and friendly. After examining the interior where the leak had come through, as well as the exterior roof and lightwell, he determined the problem was actually a plumbing issue related to a drainpipe on the roof, and explained clearly what I should tell the plumber and what they would need to do.

No charge for the consultation and instead of waiting weeks for someone to come tell me it wasn't actually a roofing problem, I was able to find out right away and head in the right direction with a plumber instead. If we ever think we need a roofer again, I wouldn't hesitate to call The Last Detail.

Manuel arrived on time, and completed the roof inspection. Manuel was very friendly, and told me my roof was in great shape and required no repairs. He did not charge me for the inspection.

I highly recommend using this company. To have someone show up on time, and tell you they don't want your money is RARE! Super happy with his service. Don't pick a different company. The one you need is The Last Detail!!
