We are very disappointed with the service and incomplete work. Manuel at The Last Detail Roofing left the job incomplete and I had to get quotes from other roofers and they all said this should be the job of TLDR. I have kindly contacted Manuel a few times to complete the work and he has refused. I thought we had a good working relationship but he has been rude and aggressive after I said I let him know according to other roofers in town, he needs to do this work. Since it's too small for other roofers and they don't want to finish someone else's work, Manuel needs to finish the work he started.

Manuel has a temper and is not someone you want in your life. Part of the reason I am writing this is to show proof of this because if anything happens to my house, car, or property there is documentation . We regret working with him on the roof and worry about the quality of work. We are now contacting a lawyer and damages to the house due to exposure to rain and elements will be his responsibility.

TLDR was one of the first roofers I requested a quote from. I explained to Manuel about a leak on the roof. He was honest enough to suggest a patch job and not replace the entire roof, which he thought would last a few more years. After some thought about the age of the roof (over 20+ years old) I decided to replace the entire roof. Manuel and his team did a great job replacing the old tar and gravel roof and light well on the flat in the outer Richmond. I would recommend TLDR. Also, his team wore masks due to the pandemic.

We are extremely happy with The Last Detail Roofing! Manuel and his crew just finished up a full roof replacement for our home in the Outer Sunset. Very competitive price and great service.

Manuel was extremely communicative from start to finish. He was quick to schedule an estimate, was clear about when his team would be able to schedule the work, and then updated us multiple times when rain delayed the project.

Manuel replaced our roof with modified bitumen, repaired dry rot as needed, replaced shingles both on the front pitch and around our atrium, and installed two Solar tubes to add some much needed natural light in our kitchen.

The crew showed up on time every day, was respectful of my family at all times (we're all home due to the pandemic), wore masks whenever they were near us, and cleaned up after themselves every day.

I'd happily work with Manuel and The Last Detail again.

I am very delighted with Manuel and staff. Manuel is professional, polite, and honest. After several bids, I decided to sign with Manuel. He has very reasonable pricing and did not try to upsell me. He immediately emailed all the necessary insurance documents along with the contract. Manuel and staff replaced the existing roofing material and downspout in the lightwell. There was a leak from the lightwell leading into the garage. Manuel's staff is a bunch of happy guys: they laugh, sing, and joke around while working. They were on time and cleaned up afterwards. I highly recommend Manuel and would use his services in the future.

Manuel removed an old tar and gravel and replaced it with a modified bitumen on my SF in Bernal Heights. He was polite, answered all my questions, competitively priced, and sent me pictures of each stage of his work. Though delayed for a few months due to COVID-19, we reconnected recently to reset and get it done. Manuel was even good enough to meet us at the skylight maker for our approval of the design. Manuel was courteous, responsive and did a marvelous job for me. Highly recommend!

Manuel replaced my 1905 wood gutters saving the original trim and did a great job installing the new gutters.

i worked with Manuel on a full roof replacement. Not only was the price very competitive but more importantly they did the work properly. They pulled a building permit and properly flashed the side of our building including flashing under the existing stucco wall in lieu of a surface application. After their work was completed i inspected the perimeter of the space barely found any sign that they were there.

Manuel replaced my tar and gravel flat roof back in June for 2020. It was in Daly City.. I was putting solar panels on so it didn't want to have the roof problem. The price was more than fair. He was on time and cleaned up daily. I felt confident in recommending him to my friends mother Inlaw.

Last year, I had a leak and Manual and his crew came out on Thanksgiving to address it. He was prompt and did a great job of patching the roof. I just had him out again to look at the roof and see if I needed additional work before the rains hit. He was responsive and prompt and gave me an honest assessment. Highly recommend him.
