The owner is fake he did a job for me and Insist to paid before the final inspection and Indie set that's is rap is the not live in a job like that even if they not passing inspection in everything because it was my 1st time that I'm working with him I agree to that but when we had the correction and we had to fix it he is not answering anymore the phones is a avoiding is just texting and gives you excuse that he sendings someone over there but guess what the guy didn't showed up then he gives excuse that he had a flat tire or something like that and hes avoiding all your calls and everything don't work with them their crook't it's gonna cost me double the job right now but I'm hoping that this review will cost him triple and hes gonna lose lots of business because of that because those guys are not someone that you can trust

I do not recommand this guy very iresponsible and keep not their promise once you pay, do not pay until you sure for your work is done right. failer to keep good quality work. never respond after his work if you get leak your roof.need prrof pl text here with word ""need proof "" and put your fon no. will give you call with proof

Beware!!! So i call this company on Jan.16,2017 and talk to Gil the owner, I explan i have a balcony 11x12 sent him pictures with water puddling and had leaked, but i've done alot of patching 95% good now but I'ld like to get it hot mopped,and i need to get the balcony sloped/pitched so that the water runs away from the house and to a drain i have in the corner, i ask how much for hot mop he said a few hundred, i said 300.00 he said yes, but i wasn't sure if he could do the pitch.He said i have a job in the morning i'll be done at noon let me come by tomorrow after 1:00pm to look at it, i said ok, so he came out Jan.17, he came without a ladder so i supplied one,Gil and his worker Andrew got up on the balcony, and i'm up on the ladder and i'm showing and explanning to both of them we have build up this side of the balcony so the water runs away from the house and to the drain,Gil says we can do this with my Tar, i can do it, i even offered i have a level to slope it and Andrew said we have one in the truck, a level and a 2x4 to slope it to the drain, i ask how much? Gil said $600.00 i said ok cause it's going to rain in 2 days. WHAT A MISTAKE, after a little while maybe 11/2 to 2 hr. Gil says we're done, so i get up on the ladder to look at the balcony and i was shocked, horrible job you can see the drain is higher than the floor, the sides are high, there's no slope, it's going to puddle, they're looking at each other like this is there first job, don,t know what they're doing, telling me it's not as bad as it looks, and to wait till it rains in 2 days,and let him know and he will come back to fix it. You know i'm a nice guy didn,t want to argue, i gave him the benefit of doubt. Well it rained 2 days later Jan.19, within 30 min. it was leaking bad, we have a bathroom under the balcony, the ceiling started leaking water from the light fixture, water was coming down from the inside of the wall onto the floor, it was a mess. I called Gil this same day and told him what was happening, He Immediately Denies What He Was Supposed To Do . The Job I Paid For. He's saying he didn't know anything about slopping that they just fix the leak, No that was the whole objective was to slope it that's why it was $600.00 instead of $300.00 Plus it's leaking very bad,worse work i've ever seen, says he 's on his way home will call me back in an hour, never calls back, next day i call him he says i'm on a job will call me in 45 min. never does just gives you the run around, I leave voice mails, send text, pictures, i ask for my money back or come out and fix it, even just to reseal it, No Response, This Guy Is A Rip Off... Very unprofessional, Left my place a mess, didn't clean up, didn,t even come with roofing paper, i had to go buy some for him, very unprepared.. I would not recommend him or his company.

I built an addition onto my house, and I needed hotmopping on two balconies and three showers. Originally, I chose The Hot Mop Specialists because Gil quoted me the best price over the phone. I am so impressed with his expertise and professionalism, as well as his willingness to adapt to my house's situation as far as getting the timing right to get the flashing and hotmopping done on the balconies in relation to getting the stucco work done by my stucco guys. Gil's assistant, Andrew, is also extremely professional and does his job really well. Hire The Hot Mop Specialists if you want fair pricing, a professional job, and if you want to deal with guys who are honest, friendly, and accomodating. A+!!!!!

I am very disappointed with Gil and I would not recommend him or his company. His quality of work was not up to standards. We had a hot mop scheduled middle of March in which he presented himself on the job site to take care of. Within a few hours, we started noticing water leaking from 1 corner of shower under tub area. I immediately contacted Gil and advised him of situation and I informed him that I see many spots with paper exposed and therefore it looks as if tar application is missing in some areas and too thin in others.Gil stated he can come out in 2 days and lay another layer and retest. I let him know we cannot place project on hold for 2 days and I will have to contact another company. Gil stated that is fine and to keep him posted once they arrive to inspect. Following morning, other company advised, hot mop application was not up to par therefore they need to reapply hot mop and would charge a slight fee. I informed Gil and he stated he will reimburse me due to his error, we agreed and so we moved forward with other company. End of March came and went, surprisingly Gil was not responding to my texts...mid April, Gil responded via text apologizing, indicating he got really sick and was almost hospitalized. I am an understanding person and acknowledge life has obstacles & gets busy...therefore I wished him well wishes and I will wait for his check. It's June now... It's obvious he has no intentions on making good on reimbursing me...luckily I was able to find a company that was able to step up and correct his error. Sadly, he was a company I use to recommend highly to all my clients for bathroom remodels/home renovations....that recommendation has ceased.

I would definitely recommend this company. I like this guys style. Website was easy to use and schedule a in house appointment. The quality of work is well worth the price.
