Started by Gary in 1980, we began as a small handyman service. Over the years, we expanded into a complete home improvement business providing a wide range of solutions for nearly every challenge a property owner may experience. Gary remains hands-on, overseeing all jobs that include a one-hour service call to remodeling an entire home. He loves offering individual attention and is always happy to share no-cost guidance tips through calls or emails.
Gary established The Home Doctor in 1980 in the Los Angeles area after completing technical training in high school and receiving a bachelor's degree as he sought a venture that would enable him to apply both entrepreneurial and trade skills. He understood that one of the most common complaints of residents is the difficulty in locating dependable service providers who are tidy, polite, experienced, and trustworthy. Our company was the perfect answer and has prospered since we opened our doors.

Gary responds quickly to any inquiry (he prefers a telephone call or a text) and his workman, Roy, is able to fix just about anything. In addition, both are very nice to deal with and trustworthy.
