The Home Doctor provides an all-in-one service solution for homeowners covering plumbing, clog removal, water heaters, wiring, appliances, woodwork, repair services, finishing, sheetrock, roofing, gutters, window screens, glass, shower doors, flooring, rock, floor installations, irrigation systems, concrete, brickwork, pest management, AV systems, locksmith, vehicle access doors, phone and security systems, among other offerings. Started by our founder, Gary Abrams in 1980, we began as a small handyman service. Through the years, we expanded into a comprehensive home improvement company offering more than 50 home improvement trades to solve virtually any problem a property owner may experience. Gary continues to be engaged, overseeing all jobs ranging from small repairs to renovating an entire property. Gary takes pleasure in offering customized service and is always happy to provide free guidance tips via phone or email.
Gary founded The Home Doctor in 1980 in LA after graduating from a course of study in technical trades in high school and receiving a bachelor's degree as he sought a venture that would enable him to combine both management and trade skills. Gary realized that a major concern of homeowners is the difficulty in locating reliable service providers who are tidy, courteous, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. Our company was the ideal solution and has thrived since we started.
