Company Overview

Our expertise lies in slate, tile, and copper roofing.
Founded in 1986 in Columbus, Ohio, Durable Slate started by fixing slate roofs in Central Ohio.
We have since grown to three offices in Ohio, two in Maryland, one in Florida, and one in Louisiana.
We have handled slate, tile, and sheet metal roofing projects across more than a dozen states in the Eastern United States.
Our achievements include winning over a dozen ""Craftsmanship of the Year"" awards.
We have also been recognized with the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) Safety Award and the NRCA's Gold Circle Award multiple times for Project of the Year.
We also hold the Better Business Bureau's International Torch Award for Market Place Ethics, along with numerous other recognitions.
John serves as the President of the National Slate Association and has delivered many lectures and demonstrations on slate, tile, and copper roofing.
