Samuel was able to give us an estimate for the roof on our home no problem. Our house is on the older side and his team encountered a structural issue. Luckily no one was hurt and he was able to work with us on rescheduling the roofing project.

He helped us find a reliable structural engineer and framer that were able to get our roof back to working condition so that they could finish laying the shingles and it came out looking real nice

We share the driveway with our neighbor and he got a flat tire from some of the debris. Samuel paid our neighbor without hesitation even though he was acting really greedy.

I definitely recommend Samuel and his team! The work they provided has been invaluable to us and we really appreciate it

What a seamless process...from getting the estimate, booking the date and completing the work! I had complete confidence in this company and my dealings with Samuel, the owner. Roof repair or new install is a big ticket $ item, so you want to make sure you choose the right company. I dealt with another company before booking with Best West Roofing and tried to simply get on their books for flat roof repair and it was incredibly challenging with inconsistencies in communication.

Samuel's employees were respectful of my property and left the area spotless and did an excellent job. During the day, he provided updates with photos of how the work was progressing which was nice because obviously it wasn't visible. I have other properties and will definitely call this company for all my roofing needs.

I see this company has very high ratings and that's great but after trying to make an apointment with these guys, they suddenly stopped responding and never heard back from them... I don't know where the disconnect came from but (for me) I can't work with a company that seems to ""not follow through."" Remember, you only get one shot to make a good impression with a potential client. If this company has so many good ratings and an abundance of work and they could care less about losing (or gaining) a client or two, good for them. This review is not meant to bash this company as I can't attest to their actual work product, but I don't like wasting my time and being left hanging. Just sharing my experience with them....

I just want to personally thank Sam at Best West Roofing for being so kind and professional during our Bitumen flat roof replacement on our home and ADU. He literally gave me an on the spot quote that took him 5min to calculate and it was the lowest I received out of 4 quotes, which initially gave me pause. I prodded him with more questions and decided to give him a shot. And thankfully I made the right decision because he worked with his team during that awful 3-week downpour of rain to get our roof up in between the downpours, even rushing over at 7:30pm to cover our roof before an unexpected rain hit. Sam is a true professional and extremely honest man, which is rare in Los Angeles. Thanks again Sam! Our solar panels were just installed last week without a hitch on our new roof!

I've been looking around for roofers and getting estimates before I met Samuel so I knew what ballpark to expect and material/work needed to be done. Samuel came in and was honest and fair. I've had some estimates with ridiculous quotes and sales approaches. Meeting someone like Samuel who is direct and sincere is refreshing from all the vultures who try to take advantage of you if they sense any lack of knowledge of roofing.
So we hired Samuel and signed the dotted line. He gave us a clear plan and time to completion. What made it great also was that Samuel was there every morning when work started. His crew was nice and efficient, clean and respectful. My yard didn't look like it was hit with a hurricane when I came home. They always picked up after themselves. I've had other work done at my place and there were times when it looked like a complete dump with no consideration for my yard or neighbor. Some areas of concern for the roof came up, which was to be expected, and every step of the way, I would get instant photo of the problem with pre and post video/pictures of the fix. I did have a concern on a specific part of the roof and to make it right, he was able to work with me on solving the issue.
I've been apprehensive with the recent unrelenting storms during the rain season but I'm feeling a lot better this time around. I'll update once the next rain season comes around. Thanks Samuel!

Recently had a new roof done by The Best West Roofing Company and so very happy that I chose this particular company. Samuel is sincerely knowledgeable and helpful with any concerns as well as the entire group of roofers having excellent workmanship. Communication and the reliability was amazing. Although my roof was in desperate need to be redone - Samuel was never pushy and I never felt dishonest sales tactics which I loved! Might of said my roof was screaming out ""help"" but that was the extent of it. Very clean work and everything went just as Samuel had outlined. The professionalism and memorably great customer service will always be appreciated. Not all reviews can be a 5 star review because things of course can go wrong but this company definitely takes pride in their work as it shows in the quality and care of concerns. Thank you again Samuel and your team! Awesome job to all of you!

I highly recommend Sam and his team. He came took measurements (actually went up on the roof) to give me an estimate, which was affordable and much better the other roofers I received estimates from. Once we approved the estimate, Sam took care of everything. He got my permit quickly and they started work right away. He and his team were at my house for three days at 7:30 am. to get started. My roof need a lot of TLC and a few extras. Even after all the extras, the price was close to the estimate. Such a pleasure to do business with. He sent pictures throughout the day of the demolition and the actual roofing. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure everything was better than before. I can't praise them enough about how great it was to work with someone genuine. Thank you Sam and the whole crew!

I hired Best West Roofing to replace the flat portion of our roof and also repair a portion of the tiled section of our roof. In addition, they repaired some internal damage to the ceilings in a couple of our bedrooms that happened as a result of a couple of roof leaks (hence the roof replacement and repair). Samuel, the owner, is a great guy. He was honest and responsive. His team did the work quickly and professionally. Would definitely highly recommend Samuel and Best West Roofing for anyone's roofing needs.
