Never do business with this company. Here I am on month 9th since they installed the solar panels and they don't work yet because it takes them months to come by and do the right thing.

Besides having an outrageous electric bill, I am also paying for the panels monthly. They reimbursed me 3 payments but now they ""have a new policy"" when they just reimburse you up to 3 payments, when IT IS THEIR FAULT the panels are still not functioning.

Two of their workers who have come by have told me they were leaving because of the way they treat their employees and clients, and they have told me to keep calling them because every time they come and fix something they throw you at the bottom of a list of things to do.

Now I read here they are out of business. I haven't been able to talk to anybody since the end of November. I stopped the payments for Goodleap, to see if they call me.

I talked to a lawyer today and he recommended me to file a claim at the TX Attorney General, Consumer Protection Division.

Contact me if you want to join, maybe if we are a few of us will get easier to get out of this mess.

I also was told I wouldn't Make any payments on my system until it was up and running, well I have made 4 payments before it was up and I can not reach the company ( the electric company and)I have concluded they went out of business For I haven't been able to reach them in over a month. But the worst part is they sent a contract to CPS stating they get my $2500.00 rebate stating they paid that to my loan company, I contacted my loan company and they never paid them anything but the electric company said to bad the contract says it go to Alternative Home Solutions and I signed it. I Never signed anything to give them my rebate. I told the electric company it seams they went out of business and was told then it wasn't going to be paid to anyone. So I won't get the rebate I was promised and I didn't get my 4 payments back that I paid before my service was connected. This is the worst decision I have ever made and I regret it, and I was lied to by Alternative Home Solutions and my electric company.

Solar paneles were installed late June and was told they would be up and running by late September, called and was told they would be running mid October, nothing still, here we are mid September and nothing!! The energy company tells me that it has been ready to be commissioned since September. I call and they keep giving me the run around. Very disappointing. I am paying on solar that is not being used.

IF I COULD COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS, I WOULD!!!

As soon as I got approved, my sales contact quit because there was an employee transfer that would have negatively impacted her. Communication went to HELL once she left. The person that was supposed to take over her accounts, never called me back when I was trying to figure out what has happening with my install.... Solar panels were randomly delivered with no heads up whatsoever AND they were the wrong ones (what a terrible joke). Techs showed up off schedule and as someone who works from home that's kind of important. A manager was supposed to reach out to me for a reimbursement of pay since I had to stop working at the random times the panel installers showed up... NEVER HAPPENED with either of my 3 follow up calls. I was NEVER told it would take MONTHS after install to have the panels connected with Oncor so I'm paying for electricity AND solar (panels were installed in may) which defeats the entire purpose of getting solar in the FREAKING SUMMER TIME IN TEXAS!!! I was told that a manager should reach out for a reimbursement. I called for the second time today because shocker... I never heard back from them the first time. I had an inspection last Monday to get the panels connected and it FAILED lmao because no one left appropriate plans or stickers for the city... THE ONLY good thing so far about this install was the whole home water filter because killeen water sucks and this is a separate company from Alternative solar. THE THIRD PARTY COMPANY HAD BETTER COMMUNICATION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE THAN THE PEOPLE WHO IM DOING BUSINESS WITH DIRECTLY. For the love of God please find another company. So far they are costing me more than saving me anything and giving me more problems than what they are worth.

I think I may need to go a legal route because this has been absolutely ridiculous

update: got a reimbursement for the solar payments but I still don't have solar as my electric bill has more than doubled
