Tom and his Son run an honest business. They are responsive, respectful, and honest. Tom spent his valuable time repairing my roof and I will not have any worries come rainy season. They are the best choice out there.

Our roof was approaching 40 years old, and some roof leaks had popped up in the past which is a bit of a heartbreak. We had the entire roof removed and underlayment replaced in October 2022 by TG Roofing. Just in time, because after nearly 28 inches of rain in the current rainy season, it was well worth the money and great to be confident that no leaks would occur and that we are good for future heavy rains. The job was done quickly in less than two weeks and they were there every day.

Been calling and emailing since September. Tom is full of excuses and never responded like he said he would. First blamed it on their outdated website, then it was they never got my email or voicemails. After a while I realized this is just an unprofessional establishment. Going with another company.

User beware. He should have a 0 rating. Tom the owner of this company will represent himself in the bidding process in the nicest way to earn your business as if he operates at the highest standards. You may believe he is a stand up guy, though I'm here to warn you he is the furthest from stand up I've ever experienced. I'm here to save you the hassle as T&G roofing and the warranty that he claims he will offer is only as good as the man that backs it and this man does not back his own work. This man, by far was the worst experience I have ever had in my entire life with any professional. He took 8 weeks to do my Roof and had 101 excuses around every mistake found. His efforts to show concern for his lack of quality work always came with some excuse related to him not being the cause of multiple leaks in my roof in multiple places after he replaced the roof. He took shortcuts to save money, the end result has been 6 years since my roof was done by Tom and I'm still having issues. I have a 4500+ square foot home with many peaks, this roof was too much for Tom to handle. During the process of trying to get him to accept responsibility for not properly replacing my roof and assuring it was water tight, in order to get Tom to take me seriously, I had to hire a litigation professional roofer to witness the Lack of acceptance of his short comings. examples include, He didn't replace flashing on chimneys as promised which causes leaks, he didn't replace the drains as quoted in my bid which ended up leaking. He didn't bother to clean out my drains that were filled with debris after his work which caused a backup and water leaks through my ceiling upon the seasons first rain, he didn't properly replace damaged plywood on a flat section of the roof and only applied 1 layer of felt when promised 5 layer system then added limited tar which leaked, exhaust vents were not reconnected in my attic after replacing the roof which caused Carbon monoxide to go directly into my attic. He used the wrong size nails which ended up shooting through the roof and can be visibly seen when looking into the eaves. His workers threw boards into a stack against my wall causing major scratch damage that was fresh on my stucco which he refused to believe was possible by his guys. His tile stackers must have been the cheapest he could find as they could not properly stack tiles which caused a sloppy mess the day of roof stacking as tiles a many as 100+ slid off my roof breaking a $500 house light he refused to admit to, even though I had photos of Broken tiles and scratches related. The tiles even hit a water valve that broke a main line, which a plumber had to come fix. It was one terrible experience After another and this is just a small sample of my dealings with Tom. If you could read his arrogant text Messages in response to my concerns for my leaking Roof you would certainly believe he should retire. He let my house bleed with water leaks for years and each time I had to deal with Tom it was always some excuse that there is no way his work could cause such leaks. If a roofer replaces your roof, is should be water tight once finalized! this was never the case. This man promised in Writing he would be on site every day to assure the job was done right. Tom was never at my home. He had his 2 kids in their 20's do the work and he was rarely here to assure it was done right. I don't believe he cared if it was right in the end. Tom is a one man show with a few helpers, don't believe any other stories he contrives. I hired another company to know fix and discover his inability to do the roof right the first time and will be reporting his license to the state along with taking legal action that is backed with plenty of evidence as well plenty of emails and text messages of this man blowing off his responsibility to back his work. Bottom line. With a small company like Tom's, 3-4 helpers, A warranty is only as good as the man that back it. Tom's warranty is worthless! Don't get suckered. Let me save you the hassle. Tom does not honor his work nor does he do the work the correct way. He will take short cuts, not keep an eye on his inexperienced help and you will not be on your own roof to witness it. Save yourself the hassles don't work with Tom.

By far the best contractor I have ever hired! Honest, fast, clean, and exceptional quality. I interviewed 6 roofing contractors. TG Roofing by far had the most competitive quote. If you are searching for a roofer, search no more. Tom is the most knowledgeable and ethical contractor I have ever met. He was referred to me by several friends in the neighborhood who had Tom do their roofing projects. I have since referred him to several others, including my parents. Consistently high quality work that is cost effective. Every contractor should be more like Tom!

Our 7 year old tile roof developed a leak last night so we called the roofer who did the installation. Unfortunately he was held up out of state due to quarantine.

We looked at the the Next Door app for Maybury Ranch and saw that TG Roofing & Roof Removal (Tom Carstensen) was highly recommended. We called Tom and he said he and his crew would be out 1st thing tomorrow.

Tom didn't disappoint. Tom and his crew showed up on time, inspected our entire roof and replaced five broken tiles.

Quality and service is not consistent. I hired them based on their review but didn't work right for me. Too many excuses to finish the project so it ended up with poor quality job taking more than 4 weeks to finish.
They are growing and expanding their business recently. They said they had started multiple projects on going and hard time to manage projects.
I strongly believe they didn't send us their best time, but send some other 3rd party contractors who TG roof can't quality control properly.

If you are going to hire them, make sure if TGR sending you the 'A-team', not the minor league or sub-contractors.
