Established in Austin, Texas in 2010 by Steve Huskey, Texas Roofing Repair was born when Huskey noticed that external commercial roofing contractors were coming to Austin for projects. Identifying a need, he sought to form a local commercial roofing company. He began building a network of roofing professionals capable of handling projects ranging from large residential roofs to expansive apartment and hotel roofs, even skyscraper roofs. The company initially launched in San Antonio, then swiftly expanded to Austin and Houston. In 2014, we launched our newest location in Killeen.

Being a new business, we brought JT on board first. He previously worked as a General Manager for a custom home builder in Central Texas, leading 7 crews for 18 years. Ready to develop his own crews with a specific culture, he was a perfect fit. JT is the guiding force for insurance adjusters. His experience allows him to highlight errors that insurance adjusters often rectify 80% of the time.

Huskey pursued a degree in Management and Marketing. While attending college, he participated in sports and was a member of the board of directors at the Humane Society. Huskey remarks, ""Serving on the board of directors was a tremendous learning experience for me. It was composed of executives from Fortune 500 firms, generous donors, and business owners. Working alongside these executives for two years showed me how to navigate a turnaround. We executed a substantial change for what was previously a significant kill shelter in Texas. We changed it into Texas's largest no-kill shelter.
