Review update: Since posting this review THI has contacted me and is working with me diligently to resolve my concerns. They have now provided the documents needed for insurance cooverage, have offered to work directly with my agent to satisfy any other requirements, and I received warranty confirmation from Owens Corning. I have updated my rating from 2 to 4 stars (can't quite get to 5 but 4 is pretty darn good), and can now recommend them seeing their diligent efforts to help us.

Additionally, I am now open to using them for any future remodeling needs.

If you decide to entertain getting an estimate exercise extreme caution. Inspect your property with them and don't leave anybody unattended
If they don't tell you upfront that they want to come in your house and do an hour long presentation don't let them in And if you're not ready for the hard sell and dont have a lot of money to spend this might not be the thing for you.
I will say that the representatives I spoke with were very knowledgeable and the sales pitch is very good and very convincing and it did seem like a good deal However, they started poking around on things that didn't need to be messed with and left it worse than when they found it and didn't have manners about things like closing a door behind them That all rubbed me the wrong way Overall, it's better if you feel like you're not pressured into anything and have some time to think about it.

The sales process was very shady. I asked for references in my immediate area and they would not give any. High pressure sales tactics. They insist the spouse and significant other be present so they can remove objections and close the deal. I've lived in my home for 26 years, and they told me the materials used were substandard and they offer the latest and best. When I told them that 3 builders built the homes in my development and most of them should be in as horrible shape as they claim mine is, there is no excuse not to have any local references. Like many of the other review, I would be very careful and definitely get competitive quotes before selecting this company.

Watch out for this business they are from California where the contractor's license was revoked by the state. They are known to rip off homeowners. This is their scam... they hire subcontractors to install a roof or whatever the job may be. They collect the money from the homeowner as soon as the job is done and then they don't pay the subcontractor. Then the subcontractor puts a lien on the homeowners house because they have no other option and the Home Improvement company keeps the full amount. This is what occurred in California time after time and they have Furious homeowners seeking them down now. Mastermind is Bob Cardoza, he has other aliases he's a super smooth salesperson and will rob you blind. Hopefully this review will not be removed so people do not continue to get scammed. In California they were called... The home improvement source in Santa Clara.

These guys did an outstanding job and I commend them on their work. However, some promises were made and have not been fulfilled yet sorry to say. Still waiting to hear back from THI.

Texas Home Improvement just completed the siding on our house last week.
We are very pleased with the job they did and their customer service! They were always here when they said they would be and it was a dedicated crew for our house and the same guys were here every day. They are employees of the company and not contracted out. They cleaned up daily and the supervisor came by daily, as well. The best thing is their product is guaranteed for life. We highly recommend them.

Warning! Warning! Warning!
Project Manager Caleb Killough randomly came to my house trying to sell me a patio cover, but said he could not measure or give me any information until the next day?? So the next day some other dude shows up to measure and give me a quote but would not do anything because my wife was not home (which Caleb was told that she would not be). Then the next day I get a call that I wasn't available and if I would like to reschedule. I WASN'T EVEN ACTIVELY LOOKING FOR SERVICES THIS COMPANY WAS TRYING TO SELL!!!! So basically this is just a rope a dope scheme. Stay away from any company that comes to your door begging for your business and then refuses to give you a quote!!! This company has terrible business ethics be very wary!!

These guys come across very sketchy in their ""sales"" tactics. Day 1... young guy comes to my house and asks if they can give estimate. I say sure... he wants my name, my wife's name and phone number... I tell him I'd rather not give my number and they can stop by the next day and complete their measurements and give me their quote. He's insistent... I relent and he says i will get a call. I got no call. He says he'll show up tomorrow with the guy who will do the measurements. He didn't.

Day 2. Two new guys show up and ask to look around the house. They look at the outside and start asking about my dogs, children and wife... ok... a bit sketchy... they say they are going to take measurements so I go back inside... 5 minutes later they are back at the door... no measurements, and they want to know when my wife will be back... say what?! Yeah, they want to come into the house when both of us are there and refuse to give me an estimate. Why do I feel like I'm about to be murdered? I swear... if someone tries to rob us, I know who I'll be suing.
