I have had the pleasure to work with David McCain and the crews at this company. FINALLY, a contractor that stands by what they promise, have your best interest in mind when it comes to timing and budgets, and they show up!! That is all rare these days sadly. I had a significant insurance claim for a roof and interior Sheetrock damage. David and the crews came out to estimate the damage and were here within a week or two to get everything done. Edgar scheduled the job just a couple days after I had called. He arrived on time and ready to go. The job was completed professionally, with Edgar providing me photos of the underlayment and all necessary steps during the process.

A leaking roof or roofing damage? Without a doubt, Texas Engineered Roofing would be my first call. After the recent storms, I noticed some water spots on my ceiling. Thinking it had to be the roof, I gave Texas Engineered Roofing a call. Scott arrived on time and did a thorough inspection of my roof. He was an absolute professional and so trustworthy noting that my water leak was not coming from my roof at all but from overflowing water from the AC condenser. All of this for no charge. Wow! Not a business I would ever recommend. The work was done but this is a confused company. They assured me the extra cost for additional work was covered but then they surprised me with a $1,500 bill they never gave me any information about. They are, like most roofers, without much regard for truth or fair. There are a lot of roofers out there and surely some of them are honest.

A few months back we saw shingle pieces on the ground behind our garage. We called Texas Engineered Roofing to check it out. They were recommended by a neighbor. They found that raccoons were tearing our shingles to get into the garage attic. However, while checking the roof of the house they also found hail damage from the storm last May. They worked with our insurance to get us covered. In fact, we had even changed insurance companies several months ago, and they assured us that our previous insurer would cover. I didn't realize that.

Our experience start to finish was excellent. Responsive communications the entire time. The price was competitive. In fact, they upgraded our shingles and ridge, and replaced our gutters, all within the insurance payment. Great attention to detail by the crew. I have some construction experience and was home frequently to watch. Scott the project manager was on site nearly the entire time. Perfect cleanup.

By the way, early in the process we called another company for a comparison bid, and that company didn't even mention hail damage or filing with insurance. So, we have the raccoons and Texas Engineered Roofing to thank.

We had Scott come out for a roof inspection. We were planning an addition and concerned about some places on our current roof, we were prepared to replace the entire roof. Scott did an inspection and gave us his honest opinion ultimately saving us a lot of money. When it is time to replace we will go with Texas Engineered Roofing because of the honesty and customer service he provided.
