I called Tex Roofing after calling around for about an hour seriously, and they where the only ones willing to hear me out on the issues I had , I was experiencing a real bad leak in my master bedroom with this weeks storm, George came out and was super professional got on the roof checked my attic and showed me exactly what was causing my leak , some missing shingles from Harvey's wind storm. He scheduled his tech and by the next day problem fixed. My experience was amazing after no one really wanted to come out.

I would definitely call George again.

I waited in the parking lot for 45 minutes and no one showed up or even gave me the courtesy of a call to say that they were going to be excessively late. This is after I confirmed the appointment the previous business day. I called their office a number of times to confirm that someone was coming, each time to be told that the estimator would call me back immediately, only to finally get a call after leaving saying ""I'm running a little bit late"". No apology, and he still wasn't even remotely close. When I scheduled the appointment I made it very explicit that I live half an hour away from the properties so a call when he was on the way was especially valuable to me. If you're looking for a company that follows through on even their most basic promises then you should certainly avoid this company at all costs.

After buying my house, I noticed that there was a decent-sized area on the side of the house where it appeared the siding had rotted through. I called Tex Roofing and they came out to take a look. They told me that the siding had been removed and not replaced during a roof repair several years ago. I was expecting the repair to cost several thousand dollars, since it appeared to be wood rot (to me).

Since the area is not visible from the front or back of the house, they repaired it with metal flashing. They were quick and on time, and charged less than $400. I would definitely recommend using Tex Roof and I will use them again if I have a roofing issue.

We had 4 quotes done on our roof and Tex Roofing was at least $1,000 lower than the rest and nearly $2,000 lower than 1 estimate we got.

I had the pleasure of working with Dan who seemed to be a very down to earth contractor. He worked with me through the entire processes which took less than a week to set up and complete. Dan was very easy to get a hold of and seemed to go above and beyond my expectations. He helped with all information about the roofing process and even threw in a few extras which the other 3 companies wanted to charge $600+ for!

I would absolutely recommend Tex Roofing for your roofing needs. We had a basic roofing job on a small residential home, so that's all I can give my opinion on but they were great!

These guys did a great job! Tex Roofing had the lowest bid and the best reviews on line of the three reputable companies I checked. I definitely went with the right one! Steve over saw the project and made sure everything met our approval, was completed in a timely manner and came in on budget. Areas of concern were immediately corrected and I couldn't be more pleased. Feel free to let everyone know that I highly recommend Tex Roofing and Steve Parker. Let's face it: home contractors can be an independent lot, who sell happiness, and all too often don't make good on whatever you hired them to do.

But all of my apprehensions were deflated after hiring Scott Miller and Tex Roofing.

Here's why:

I had a hail damaged roof that needed a complete tear off and replacement, plus I had three of old rusty turbine units I wanted torn out, and new ridge roofing installed.

I solicited about 8 bids to make sure I had enough for comparisons, and to check references.

My roof is about 30 squares, and needed an extra 5 for a total of 35.

I got Tamko Heritage architectural/dimensional shingles, which were a mid level upgrade.

Scott was a professional from the moment we first made phone contact, through his straight forward presentation, and on through the job.

His crew were ALL BUSINESS. They showed up and got the job 98% done in a single day, (with only minor cleanup on day 2,) shingles delivered the day before and put on the roof, cleaned up every shard of waste and rubbish, and left me with a beautiful roof.

Moreover, Scott's bid wad nearly a $grand below all of his competitors, and this looked like a red flag, so I called him on it.

He said that he stays in business by doing good jobs for folks on a consistent basis, without jacking up the price, or trying to gouge either the customer OR the insurance companies.

We had the luxury of scheduling the job six weeks out, though he did have openings sooner, that simply didn't fit my schedule--but unlike other larger, more corporate and generally rigid contractors, he fit my schedule to a tee, and didn't say he was booked two months out.

He managed to execute the contract down to the letter, and most importantly, without a single phone call in the middle of the job to inject a new headache into the mix.

They even managed to take care not to damage any of the tons of my wife's plants that ring the house!

The work was done professionally, problem free, headache free, aesthetically pleasing and UNBELIEVABLY HASSLE FREE!

If only all home contractors were as straight up in their customer service, we could all ride unicorns.

Final comment:

Scott's had his company for a decade, and has a 3 page list of references, is a nice guy, and a family man just trying to earn an honest living.

Do yourself a favor and get his bid before you sign with any other roof contractor--it'll be well worth it. I can attest.

After meeting him and a few phone calls while we were addressing scheduling snd the choice of materials, he was so professional to work with, that he EARNED ENOUGH OF MY TRUST in his character, that I never bothered to call his references. And my instincts in favor of hiring him on trust and faith alone were rewarded by a perfect job, well done without a single complications.

I recommend him fully, without reservation.

Tex Roofing and George were very professional in addressing a water leak on our roof. Arrived on time, great communication throughout and went over and above to ensure the repair addressed the root cause of the problem. Even provided photos of the before and after.
