Matt P.Worked with Sean Gregory to have my roof replaced and he was extremely responsive throughout the process. Service was second to none. Sean and his team were out within a day to assess the things. Entire job was completed in a single day one week later. Two weeks into my new roof and already having gone through Tropical Storm Imelda and I've had no issues whatsoever. Top notch service and top notch quality work! Thanks Telge Roofing!
Joe C.These guys are great. Roy and the crew did what they said they would, when they said they would do it. They helped me with a troublesome insurance company and even arranged for new gutters. These guys walk the talk. Very satisfied with my experience.
Telge Roofing put on a new roof at my house. The process was smooth and the roof was completed in a timely manner. Kudos go out to Cameron Veatch (project manager) for his attentiveness and professional service during my recovery process. Customer service was exceptional; ask for Cameron.
Working with Telge Roofing has been a wonderful experience. We had a leak in our roof and they came out a couple times to assess the problem and offered a couple different suggestions. As soon as we decided what route we wanted to take they were out the next day. Everyone I have dealt with at Telge has been professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this company.
Jan H.In October 2017 had Telge provide re-roofing estimate. Luckily for us Telge sent Sam Taylor to estimate the job. Sam was probably the most courteous, professional, and knowledgeable individual I've dealt with in a roofing company. He worked with us and our insurance company to assure all our issues were properly addressed. When we accepted the job and estimate, Sam wasted no time in getting the job done with the materials we selected. They started when promised, finished when promised, cleaned up afterwards as promised and came back after completion to assure the job met our expectations. USE these people. And ask for Sam. He has our full recommendation.
Tiffany S.I am giving this company one star because I have to be able to give them a review. We called them to replace our roof after Hurricane Harvey and it's been nothing but hell since. I honestly can't believe anything this company has told me because it seems like everything they say they go back on. They replaced our roof in the pouring rain and it incurred other damage not due from the hurricane that we have waited two months and have received the run around for a time frame of when it would be fixed. I was finally contacted by the owner Roy and he made it seem that it was our fault that the roof leaked during the rain when it was completely de-shingled by his company because we had an old fire place. He said he would not fix that and that he put new boards up and had no charged me for them, even though I was told they would be supplementing with my insurance. When I advised him that our rep Craig told us that they were taking pictures along the way and would supplement he began to make fun of his employees and say he was too big to even get up on the roof. This man is a joke, this company isn't in it to help people, and doesn't take his employees seriously. We still have no set time on when our house will be fixed. Use at your own risk.
Now years ago, I had a sales rep provide a quote and offered me a $1000 off my insurance deductible. No scope of work on contract. When I declined, they threatened me with a law suit by their repugnant lawyer. When I refused, I was sued and it cost me $3,500 to defend myself. It is against the law to provide a kickback on deductibles and made the contract null and void. The lawyer knew this. I'm sure the owner was informed as well.
We attempted to get other contracts they wrote through discover to show a pattern of abuse. I believe this finally forced the owner to dismiss the law suit. With all the recent news on corporate bullies using law suites to quash complaints, it made me realize that I should never have allowed the suite to be terminated and kept fighting this bully. They always depend on the fact that most people cannot afford the legal costs in defending themselves so they can continue on with whatever they want to do. Bullying through law suites! Look at our president and you should realize this is true!
No moral fiber anywhere in this company or management! I will probably be sued for slander again, but you cannot slander with the truth. The public needs to stop this through class action suits to stop this abuse!!
I would highly recommend not using Telge Roofing. It might work out for those who don't have any complications, but when we had a complication they made excuses, dragged their feet, gave us the runaround, were rude in some cases, threatened us for non-payment (even though they hadn't informed the insurance the job was complete) and refused to use their highly touted insurance to repair the damage they caused. If you plan on using them, make sure your builder constructed everything to code, otherwise Telge may try to use them as an excuse if anything goes wrong.
One of Telge's employees drove a nail through one of our hot water pipes that ran through the attic. The leak ran into our exterior wall behind our shower. We noticed water ponding in our Master Bedroom underneath the carpet. We also found water seeping from the interface of our foundation and brick fascia along the side of our house. Telge was not proactive about addressing the damage to the interior of our house.
After seeking Telge's approval, we called ServPro out to remediate the damage from the leak. They remediated the water damage to our Master Bedroom but didn't want to address the damage to the exterior wall behind the shower. They suggested that we have a plumber come out to see if there was any water behind the shower. I spoke to Mike about getting a plumber to come out and inspect the shower and he said that he would try and find someone. Meanwhile we called two water damage remediation companies to come out and assess the damage. Both companies recommended removing the shower to dry out the wall and replace the damaged drywall and insulation. I told Mike what they had recommended and he tried to undercut their assessment by saying that, because we took a shower earlier that day, the moisture reading they took of the wall probably wasn't accurate. I told him he could get another opinion, but asked when it would be. He called Boone Remediation out the next day and they confirmed that the walls around the shower were saturated and scheduled a time to come out the following day.
Three guys came out led by Nick Boone and started a very targeted removal of the drywall above and around the shower. They attempted to remove the insulation from behind the shower and Nick showed me a picture taken with his phone to convince me that they removed all the insulation. I used a flashlight and my own phone to show him that they hadn't even removed half of the insulation. I also overheard Nick telling one of his employees not to say anything about mold, which was clearly visible. I called Telge and talked to one of their operations managers, Trey, to complain about Boone and was told that Telge wasn't trying to pinch pennies but they also didn't want this to turn into a huge insurance claim. Trey also claimed it was the builder's fault for not building to code. However, another Telge employee told us that it was Telge's responsibility to go up in the attic and look for any potential issues.
Boone placed dryers behind the shower. Nick said it wasn't necessary to remove the shower to check for mold and said he would ask Telge to bring in a mold inspector to test for mold. The mold inspector came out and took some air samples. Boone called us with the results of the report and said that they were all clear to come in and close up the wall. I told him to wait because I was concerned about the results of the inspection. The inspector stated that there was no visible mold and there was clearly visible mold on the headers that were exposed by Boone's remediation work. They also hadn't addressed the damaged drywall behind the shower or even removed/replaced all of the insulation.
I called Telge and spoke to the general manager Mike Corbin who essentially blew off my concerns saying that he didn't know why he was still dealing with this issue. I told him about the damaged drywall that was separating from the shower liner and the insulation that was never removed. He said that he would talk to Boone Remediation and get back to me. HE NEVER GOT BACK TO ME. We finally decided to call their insurance to file a claim, but the phone number they provided to us was just to their insurance agent who sold them their policy. After multiple calls, we finally got in touch with the agent who refused to give us their policy information so that we could file a claim.
Out of options, we decided to file with our own insurance. Their adjuster came out, inspected the damage and agreed with all the other inspectors (not hired by Telge) that the shower needed to be replaced. At this point we received a letter by certified mail stating that we needed to pay the remainder of our balance or they would charge interest on our bill. They owed referral checks to 3 neighbors which they never paid. And a ServPro bill collector contacted us for the services they provided but Telge never paid.
Neighbors on both sides of me had a good expreience with Telge Roofing. They had representatives come out from Telge Roofing to go on their roofs and both recieved a good to go with replacing their roof with their respective insurance companies. So we called to have a rep come out for replacement thru insurance. Naz Hussein came to our home. Looked at the roof from the ground. Despite every time he came to our home we had a ladder out & ready for him to use he never put a foot on any part of roof. He had big talk of working with insurance adjuster and pointing out issues of problems while on the roof on past jobs. Our adjuster arrived & so did Naz at the same time. We where denied hail and or wind damage replacement of our roof. Without Naz going onto our roof with the adjuster we feel we had no representation for our side. Would never ever recommend this company if this employee, Naz Hussein, is sent out. Now we where told to wait for another bad storm, by adjuster & Naz agreed. He agreed so he would get the business. Nope not us. We are requesting a re-evaluation from our insurance company. We are using a different roofer, Southwestern Roofing. This roofing company has done small fixes through the years and will get on the roof with the State Farm insurance adjuster. Many roofs in our block are having new roofs. Why not us. Bad representation from Telge Roofing.
Marlene W.We just had our roof replaced and it was a great experience! Amanda and Patrick were very through and kept us up to date on all activity. Their team was on time, thorough, and clean!
I would highly recommend Telge Roofing!
