This would have been 3 stars, but I don't deal with liars. Blatant liars.

I called to schedule an inspection to look at 2 leaks in my roof. I asked how much it would cost and Deb said it wouldn't cost anything for the inspection, unless the inspection was extensive and it would be $175.

They came out 2 days later. I was at work and my wife stayed at home to show them the issues we had. I was on then phone with my wife when they pulled up. We got off the phone so she could let them in to look around.

She called me back when he was done, and still there, to tell me what he found. My wife said we owed him $175, but I was confused because he had only been there 23 min. I check my phone logs with my wife. Also, he couldnt take my wife's card cause they can't take card payments and they would call me for payment. But they would take my card over the phone? Very inconvenient.

When Deb called to let me know they were done I asked if there was a charge. I knew there was, I just wanted to see what she would say since she originally said it would be no charge for a quick inspection. She did say there was a charge. I asked her if it was a quick inspection and she found out I was not home but at work. Thinking I wouldn't know how long the inspection lasted, she tells me straight up, ""He was there for a long time, that's why we have to charge you."" Such a blatant lie!

I couldn't believe this lady would lie straight to my face. She tried to smooth it over by saying the $175 would come out of the cost of the work. The right thing to do would be to refund my money and apologize, but that will never happen. I'm just going to try to let everyone know what kind of business this is.

I chose Tejas Roofing because I believed they would provide the highest quality roof for a fair price, their recognition by GAF as a Master Elite contractor, their longstanding business relationships with high-quality suppliers, and the long-term experience of their installation crew. I got bids from 3 highly rated companies. Tejas' bid was in the middle of the 3. Their crew worked very hard in scorching hot weather and did an excellent job. They also did an excellent job cleaning up afterward. I would have given them 5 stars except for a mistake by the satellite company they used in estimating the amount of roofing material needed, which resulted in a significant cost increase that Tejas split with me.

It has been almost a year since we had our roof replaced by Tejas Roofing. I think about Deborah Tejada and her workers often as I drive up to the house. The roof is complex with steep slopes and many valleys and intersections. Her team was confident and reassuring in the approach to the job and in the execution of the work.  My wife and I remain extremely pleased with Tejas Roofing's work on our house.  The roof continues to look fantastic! I feel blessed that it was Deborah who answered the phone when I called Tejas Roofing almost a year ago to inquire about urgent repairs on our roof. She got the ball rolling and we soon had our new beautiful roof.

After a bit of confusion in getting them to my house, they finally arrived and did a patch job that didn't hold. It was our mistake in going the quick and easy route. And it did state on the invoice that there was no warranty.

Roof leak is now worse so we called out another company who said it should not have even been patched the way it was and to give them a call to see if they would make an effort at amends as he didn't want me to pay good money after bad.

Well I did get in touch with Tejas and, as stated on the invoice no warranty.

I would not be leaving a bad review had the owners wife not been so terse with me. Now, this might just be her ""way"" but I found it a bit unprofessional and off-putting. My debt to Deb and her company has been met and I'll not deal with them again.

Just received a call from Roland who was willing to come out Monday. Very gracious and polite. Working with him would have been so much nicer from the beginning. Told him that I was pretty much shut down by Deb yesterday, so went with another company.

In reading the other reviews, I can't help but notice that Deb is the reason behind all the negative reviews.....hate to think folks are missing out on hiring a great company because of a problem office staff.

They did a quick but thorough replacement of my leaking roof, did a good job with cleanup, and the price was fair. Highly recommended.

We had a roof leak after a storm damaged our roof and blew off a few roof shingles. Having heard their radio commercials for years, I called Tejas Roofing. They came out the next day, quickly diagnosed the problem, and promptly repaired the damage. Tejas charged a fair price for the work involved and we were well-pleased w/the repairman and his professionalism. I would recommend Tejas to anyone and will use them again in the future.

Tejas Roofing and Construction was picked to do ceiling repair work at our church after getting bids from 3 other contractors. They came on time and protected the flooring. We had three separate ceiling spots that needed to be repaired: Nursery (1/2 ceiling fell down); Sunday school room (just a small part); and the pantry room (just a small part). They were very professional. They had to use scaffolding in the nursery which they brought and set up. In the Sunday school room they discovered the spot to be replaced needed to be larger and took care of it. They painted the whole ceiling. They made sure the paint in the nursery matched the other half of the ceiling which didn't need repairing. They went out of their way in the nursery by fixing the light so it would work after replacing the insulation and sheetrock and then painting it. This light fixture was dangling due to the ceiling collapsing. They even replaced the bulbs I furnished (since they had the scaffolding up, it was a blessing for them to do so!). Then the pipe holding the wiring to the fixture was painted to match the ceiling. In the Sunday school room they hung sheets of plastic to protect the walls. The job they did was extremely good. They also did a nice job cleaning up when they were finished.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. First off, I called around June 24-26 and talked to Deb. She explained that they were behind schedule and that she would have someone call me back with a scheduled date to come look at my roof. Well the next call i received from them was on July 2 a week later. The earliest they can come out was July 18th, and not to mention they never showed up without even calling. My wife called and Roland said ""My guy got hung up on another job can we reschedule?"" Her answer was no. So after dealing with these quacks for almost a month nothing has happened. Good luck with them even answering the phone. I would let my roof cave in before using this so called business.

Made a call to ask if they could come out to give me an inspection and bid to repair any hail damage. The arrogant female on the other end of the line interrupted me and said, ""Who am I speaking with""?. I gave her my name, and she went on to tell me what I needed to do. Completley unprofessional and disrespectful from the moment she opened her mouth. I ended the call by stating I want a roofing company that will do what I ask, not tell me what I need to do. Do not waste your time with these people. I am also contacting their advertisers at KSEV to let them know the are pushing a piss poor company on their audience.

i was listen to radio station 740 every day, and i liked their commercial,i saved their phone so when i need them i will use them. i called them , i remembered the day was saturday march 14 , and roland answer the phone and he was polite and took the info and his wife call me monday, and she start asking me question after question and i told her just send me your crews, and when they come they will give me the estimation and i will accept the price or not, and she was so hard on me and she said looks like, you are very hard to work with you and hang up the phone on me impolite lady she told me that she been in the business for many many years,i do not care how many years been in the business, alli need to send me the old truck do the estimate, they need to put some one more polite to speak to the customers on the phone,she knows how to make a commercial on radio,but does not know how to speak to the customers on the phone , was good for me to call another co and get the job done less than tejas roofing.....
