We had an excellent experience with TGR. they always come in early ready to work. Clean up after they're done. They finish the whole project quick. I had some extra work done and they completed it with good quality. We have no complaints. Just good praises from the workers to the owner. Definitely recommend them to all my friends. Their price are good too for quality of work.

Very fair price considering the pandemic increased materials cost for everything. Pretty much all our requests were filled, but especially a slope for a bedroom, which most contractors didn't want to do, and was the cause for a leak that lasted maybe 15 years. Crew was also friendly and listened to our concerns for the carport that held maybe 30gal of water during heavy rain. Crew also has great work ethic and all work was done professionally. The owners are also very friendly and easygoing, and genuinly listens to your concerns who work out possible solutions on the spot. Have already done 2 properties with Teams General Roofing and the roofs are still going strong after the recent storms. Definitely would recommend and already have to other family members that have old roofs.

Excellent Company. Not only were they among the lowest bidders, they worked with me to upgrade my selection of asphalt roofing shingles to presidential shake TL certainteed ( my choice ). They drove out to drop off product brochures. Asked me what color I wanted. They also bid to replace gutters, asked me what color and pattern. Responded quickly to emails and phone calls. During the process of getting permits , they scheduled tear off , and after that tear was complete etc. and happened a rain storm was forecast. I called them in a panic -- they came out and covered the roof with upgraded synthentic underlayment -- really tough plastic stuff -- not cheap tar paper -- before the storm. I spoke with the owner and he came out and said ""we protect your home"" , and they did. So the roof and home was protected, on short notice -- because of the impending rain. That was above and BEYOND.

The roof and gutters look fantastic, the alignment of the shingles is spot on. They replaced damaged / rotted sheathing with minimal cost and expense prior to installation of the sheathing of course. Their crew was friendly and agreeable and they knew what they were doing. I speak spanish , they told me in Spanish how this company respected them as workers and also respected their customers -- no shortcuts.

I would use them again, and recommend Teams General Rooding without reservation nor hesitation. Several times the owners of this family business came out to personally inspect the crew's work. The roofing inspector from the city made 1 comment/observation, that I handled during painting ( which I had agreed to do ) for the chimney sheathing. That was the only observation, and that was basically, one half and inch of sheathing... for about 6 inches. For a 1400 square foot roof. Not bad. not bad at all!!!!

My neighbors have complimented me on this roof, and it looks gorgeous. I think this new roof will last longer than I , and than was my goal. Teams general Roofing: Thank YOU!

The problem has been like that for a while.
On December 2021 I got California $600 epidemic relive money.
I decided to use this money to fix this problem.

I bought a Chinese news paper and tried to find a honest roof professional.
In the news paper, I found an adv which say something like that ( transfer from Chinese to English).
""roofing special, teams general roofing, Inc
quality assurance,reasonable price, repairs and maintains the roof , large and small works""

It sounded that was the contractor I needed. Because my repair is a small job but need a contractor with roof repair special. I was so happy that I found a right contractor and called to tell my friends.

But my hope was vanished and the result is nightmare.
They came on December 21, 2021 and I explained the problems to them in detail.
The husband(contractor) came up to the roof to look at that problem and fasten a small piece of metal sheet to the gutter. The small metal sheet is on top of the gutter. When he did that I was watching him and told him that it would not work but he responded to me that ""if that is not work, I will come back to fix it"". But that is a lie.
He worked about one hour and charged me $350. His wife asked me paid with cash, but I did not have enough cash I paid a check to her. When I gave the check to his wife his wife gave me the invoice and told me no warranty. But before the job started they never told me about that. Then I argued about that but the contractor told me not worry. He said if the repair not fix the leaking he would come back to fix it and told me to call his phone.

The next day it rained lightly, the place the contractor fixed is still leaking. I called them they pretended they would come back to fix it but they never come back.

Now it has been more than two months they never come back.
I knew they just play around, What they told me and their advertising is a
lie.

On the advertising they said ""teams"" , it actually is one contractor and his wife. His wife just helps to hand the tools and material from ground to him.
The advertising said they are roof special. Actually they cannot fix a very simple roof common problem. The adv said their jobs are quality assurance. That is a lie too. when I called them and told their fix does not work the wife said the game was over it means they did not care because they got pay already. What is quality assurance they promised on the adv. ? But they never come back and fix their repair job. I called them to beg them to come back to look at this problem and they even scold me. Sometime they pretended they would come back and fix it but that is just a lie too.

If your guy have time to look at what they did to fix my roof. You will be shocked. In whole neighborhood there is no that kind fixing except they did that to me.
Indeed the small fix just needs a piece metal put between the wall and the roof tile just like between chimney and the roof tile but they did not know how to do it.

I am seventy more old lady and I cannot climb up roof to fix roof by myself. I must hire a contractor to do it.
But unfortunately I was cheated by this dishonest contractor so that I lost the money and could not get the roof fixed.
Please learn from my experience and do not hire this unprofessional and dishonest roof repair contractor.

The owner and his sweet wife were nice to work with during a stressful situation. Even offered to help clean up the water leak inside.

Had Teams general roofing come do my roof based on a recommendation from a neighbor. Chan and his wife make a lot of promises when they came to do the roof estimate that everything will be resolved. I decided to have them do my roof. I regret making that choice. Chan and his crew do very subpar work and look to cut corners wherever they can. They don't properly seal the seams of the roofing material with roof flashing and only apply Henry's wet patch material as a seal. That stuff dries and cracks causing the roofing seams to open up. The light well area was also redone and there was still leaks after and I had to call Chan numerous times to address the leak issues. Instead of removing the material and doing a complete check and applying new material he just added layers and layers of the wet patch material. Still leaks every time tried calling them, they just keep making excuses and don't really address the issue. Beware of their workmanship!

I had a leak on the back wall of my house coming down from the wall to where my sliding door was in early summer. My neighbor recommended Chan to fix the siding where the leak was. I showed Chan the issue, and he drafted up a proposal which would fix the roofing and repair siding - ""rotten wood only"". My main concern was the siding along the back where the sliding door was (as that is where the leak appeared) - which I pointed out to Chan and asked him several times before signing the contract if he could repair/replace the back wall area where leak was. He said yes, and said that this was what the ""walls rotten wood only"" clause covered. So, I agreed to have him repair my siding and roof in July 2018.

His team did not come back until August, even though this was an urgent matter. While his team and him worked, they left a mess when they removed the skylight on the roof, and put it back on. They removed it and placed it back on several times, letting dust and random material fall into the house onto the furniture, dining table, and floor. They didn't think to cover their work area first, nor did they come in to clean up the mess afterwards. His team also lifted up the exhaust pipe (that leads up to the roof and connects to the water heater on the second floor) and did not put it back in place after jilting it around.

He removed the gate that divided my neighbor's back patio and mine, and never replaced it. The downspout runs straight to the floor, right next to the foundation - which should never happen (as debris/leaves could get stuck in the spout and accumulate; and could cause damage the foundation over time being so close to it). A roofing professional should know this and yet him and his team did a completely poor job, as if they didn't care.

Most importantly, he did not replace the siding (the main request from this contract) as he promised. The siding is still full of dry rot. It was very telling when I spoke with Chan during his work about pricing, and he asked why I cared since the HOA is paying for it. He basically implied that I shouldn't care how much he was charging since he thought I wasn't paying for it. But homeowners fund the HOA... and with only 12 units in our community, every $ counts and we are all paying for our repairs. So the fact that he was so dismissive about the pricing was insulting. He also called me a liar regarding replacing the siding that I requested - which was my original reason to have him come over and take a look at the wall where the leak was. I do not understand how he can still be in business acting this unprofessionally.

I have called a number of times and his wife and him keep postponing when he can come back and finish the job that he had did incorrectly or not at all:
-did not replace the gate he tore down
-downspout was done incorrectly and will easily clog
-rotten siding on the wall where the leak occurred was not replaced (the main purpose of having him fix my unit)
-does not do things with care and does not clean up after their work

A huge warning to not do business with him - especially through an HOA as he will take advantage of the fact that the homeowner isn't paying directly, and he will do the absolute minimum or less than minimum and try to get away with it. His wife is the only positive part of the business - she is very nice, respectful, and is in the unfortunate position serving as the buffer in communication between the clients and Chan.

I have been in business over 40 years and have rarely had such a great experience dealing with contractors. I cannot recommend Teams Roofing Co. enough. Mr. Chan Pak kept his work schedule exactly as promised and did a perfectly wonderful job completely replacing the roof on our hundred year old building. Not only was the workmanship exceptional but both he and his daughter, Esther, could not have been more kind and honest. Even the six crew members were very polite and careful.
