My journey in roofing started at 16 when I joined the roofers union in Oahu. I spent around six years dedicated to commercial roofing. After relocating to the Big Island with my wife and daughter for better opportunities, I started working in residential roofing. I dedicated another six years to the residential roofing field, gaining insights into different roofing systems, both residential and commercial. This experience allows me to offer customized installations across a variety of roofing systems. I founded my own company with an emphasis on high-quality service for a fair price.

Jeremy M.Over the course of more than one month, I reached out to this company several times - only making a connection when I initiated contact. From the time of initial contact until today, I had a roof leak that penetrated my ceiling that evolved (with recent heavy rains) to two (2) ceiling roof leaks. Nearly every week and a half, I made contact with TDS in an attempt to assess/price the work. I was met each time with casual apologies and weak excuses of why I did not receive a callback, or why staff never showed up to assess the work to be done.
I work for an affordable housing development company (likely the most reputable on this island) and have rarely come across such horrible service/bedside manner - service that I would absolutely not tolerate from any contractor conducting work for one of my company's projects.
I have decided to move on as, only TODAY, TDS informed me that it would not even be able to conduct the work for another four (4) months. To not have the foresight of understanding a customer's immediate need (even after it had been clearly explained at the onset) is poor business manner and a major disappointment to say the least.
James W.A section of our asphalt shingles blew off in last week's wicked Waikoloa winds. On top of that we had rain for two days...Tyler and Ryan were awesome! They picked up the roofing material, made the repairs and removed all the old materials. They were a pleasure to work with and did the job quickly. We highly recommend them.
Steve P.Tyler is a true professional. We called TDS to inspect work done on our home by our solar company. He promptly came out, did a very thorough assessment, and made recommendations to the solar panel installers to correct mistakes that had been made. His professionalism and attention to detail are second to none. I highly recommend him and will be using TDS in the future.
