I needed a new roof by February 21st or my insurance company was going to discontinue. I also wanted new gutters, but I waited until just 2 1/2 weeks before the deadline to call anybody. Out of the five roofers who came over, Tal was by FAR the most cooperative! He gave the best bid, SWORE he was going to have it done before the rains came. Plus, he had the best vibe out of all of them. He got the roof and gutters up in just two days, finished things up on the third, and then the rains came. Perfect job! Tal was a great communicator the entire time, addressing all the concerns I threw at him. Milo and his team worked fast. Tal also took pictures with his drone. I sent them to the insurance company, and the policy is renewed! Thank you, Tal Family Builders!

I called Tal Monday (Feb 3) around 4:30-5 pm thanks to a referral from a Roofing/Skylight repair company offering names in my area. It was raining hard that day and for the first time in the 15 years we've been here we saw a leak from the ceiling!!
It was good that Tal himself answered my call and agreed to come and take a look. He arrived by 6:00 pm or so and went into the attic to examine the source of the leak. With videos he described the problem and offered to send me a quote that night itself. He did - shortly thereafter. His quote was not inexpensive. But he offered to get the job done the next morning (fortunately was not supposed to rain on Tuesday morning). We decided to get the work done by Tal since the others Quotes would have taken another couple of days and we did not want to risk more leaks or destruction.
Tal and his team arrived promptly the following morning and got the work done within a few hours. He took pictures and showed us the extent and scope of the work. When it started raining the following day, I asked him to come out and take a look to ensure there wasn't any further leak and he came readily. There was none.

I would definitely recommend Tal Family Builders to anyone looking for a good job to be done. With a person who stands behind his work.

After the last heavy rain we were surprised to find water in our garage.
We reached Tal Family Builders after talking to a couple of other companies and they were able to have someone out to look at our roof the same afternoon. They sent us a quote a couple of hours later which was very fair and we accepted. They were out the following day to make repairs and it has rained since and we have no leaks. We would definitely call them again for any roofing needs.

I was very happy with Tal's attention to detail, thoroughness, and communication throughout the process of providing his estimate. My roof was a unique case with it currently being asbestos shingles and Tal went out of his way to do the research with the city for proper disposal methods and got estimates from asbestos removal companies to subcontract out to. He checked in with me every day to provide an update throughout that process. When he sent me the estimate, his pricing was very competitive with other roofers I received estimates from. I would definitely recommend Tal for your roofing project or remodel because he really cares about the quality of his work and providing you with the best recommendations and value for what your house needs specifically.

We initially had no knowledge of when our roof was previously replaced. With this in mind we reached out to Tal (and others) for an inspection and quote. I live in San Jose in the last few years, our roof is pretty old and during last winter we had a few areas that were already slightly leaking, I decided that it's time for a new roof, I searched for a roofing companies that will provide a professional and safe service and replace our old roof, I met with 5 different companies, I felt the most comfortable with Tal family builders, from the first meeting I recognized that Tal, the owner of the company, was the only one that really took the time to understand what is the best way to approach this project, he provide us a lot of knowledge about the process and the different materials, I really liked his honest approach and most important he kept his obligations through the entire project, It was clear that Tal and his team are experience in this kind of a project, the communication was great, Tal always kept me in the loop and answered my questions quickly and professionally! I am definitely pleased from the end results, the roof looks great !
