We had TAG replace our roof plus repair extensive wood damage on our home. They also installed a window, took down our solar panels (to replace our roof) then put them back up, remove two concrete arches to open up the patio in our backyard and painted the exterior of our house.

Karl G. from TAG Construction Services was so easy to work with and anything was possible! He really made the entire process painless and he always made us feel at ease. When he said something was going to get done, it got done. We never had to worry. All the workers that came to the house were respectful, very hard working and friendly. They did the work as if it were their own home. That's how good it is!

You sometimes hear horror stories about home repairs and shoddy work. So of course, we were a little nervous. TAG did the best quality work and we can honestly say, we LOVE everything they did and we couldn't be happier!

We highly recommend TAG Construction Services for all your construction needs. They will be the first company we call in the future!

TAG did an outstanding job on my new roof. The demo crew and the installation crew were amazing. They also recommended a gutter company and I am glad they did. I am extremely happy with every aspect of their company. They were scheduled to start on a monday, but the owner came by on the wednesday before and said they could start that same day. He also recommended a shingle color that would blend in with the stacked stone. Highly recommended.

I got 5 different bids from different roofing companies for a tear-off and reroof job. TAG came in at the lowest bid even though they were using the same brand asphalt shingles the others were using, same underlayment, etc. They did a great job, were here when they said they would be and finished on time. I was reroofing before putting in solar panels and I wish I had known that TAG also installs solar. I got a lot of good advice from Karl G. about things to look for when my solar company installed the panels. He even volunteered to come out and double check the solar installation to make sure they didn't harm the roof. Thanks, Karl, I really appreciate all the help you gave me when you had more work than you could handle yourself. It's a sign of a great business when the people really care about their customers.

I had some questions regarding the roofing of my patio cover and called Tag Roofing and Don answered the phone. He was able to help me out and answer all of my questions. In the end I did not need their services and Don still told me to call if I have any other questions. I could not get a call back from someone at the company that put the roof on my house several years ago but Don, with over 25 years experience, answered the phone and then my questions. A++ for customer service and knowledge.

I signed a contract in November and at that time they stated because it was a small house (1000 sq ft) it could be a ""fill in"" and I should not have to wait that long, provided we did not have steady rain. I did not hear from anyone again until mid January when Harry told me it would start on Monday and then someone else said it would start on Tuesday; needless to say they started on Tuesday and finished on Friday. The actual crew was good, no complaints there nor any complaints on the workmanship.

My complaint is entirely about the communication from the operations office - it is extremely poor. Fast forward two months post job completion (January 22) I received an additional bill from them via email (March 22) stating I owed 480 more dollars due to 96' of 1/6 sheathing. I understand that unforeseen materials can cause the price to increase but not once did anyone mention that the additional materials were needed during the job nor at the end of the job when I met with the owner and also the job foreman. Its only two months later, I receive a bill and like I said, the first bill received was March 22 and it is now April 5 and they are threatening me with a Mechanics Lien on the house.... thankfully we now have Yelp so others can be forewarned.

We had such a hard time selecting a roofing company. We had five roofers out. All of the roofing companies had excellent marks. The bids were all over, for basically the same products.
Our roof was FOUR LAYERS...hard removal. The new roof is so wonderful. Tag used quality products with solar sheeting that reflects the heat. Our open beam den was treated with 4 inch treated wood. Our den is so cool. The absolute coolest room in the house. In addition, our electricity Bill went from $450.00 to $190.
We selected Tag based on the bid, middle price and the prompt reply to our calls. Tag accommodated my unusual request of a contract modification. Tag understood my concerns.
The job start date was delayed because of the heavy rains. However as soon as it was possible to start, they were here all day, everyday, even weekends, until the job was completed.
We can't thank Tag crew for a job well done. Great work, at a fair price.

Tag was a spectacular company from beginning to end for my needs. Starting with Carl who kept to his commitment of performance excellence, then to Tom who mastered the details for roofing replacement who then referred me to Don for financing options and then finally right down to the cleaning experts. My expectations were surpassed in every way, not to mention the proportion of superior quality to costs. I can not be more satisfied with the end result. This company followed through with form and substance. I could not be in better hands with them.

I posted back in February, about the difficulties we had been having, getting our roofing job completed. Within 30 minutes of my Yelp post, I was on the phone with the owner of the company. He was on his way to my home, to personally resolve the issue. He did, that same day, and was so apologetic that I had to put a good review up so all could see I got resolution! Thanks Karl!

After the big rains here we noticed a stain on the wall just above our fireplace where the wall and the mantel connect. We had been told by another company that the leak was probably due to faulty installation of our solar panels. They told us that to repair the problem we would need to lift the panels, replace the roof on the side where the panels are located & re-install the panels. Estimated cost: $10,000 plus. We contacted Tag Construction for a second estimate to repair the roof leak. Karl Godenschwager,Tag's VP, came out the next day after we called to take a look. He found faulty installation of flashing around our chimney including a small hole. He proceeded to re-caulk the areas that needed it to seal up the roof around the chimney and assured us that he seriously doubted that the solar panels had anything to do with the leak. He told us how to monitor the stain to be sure we had no further problem but in that event, the flashing could be repaired if necessary. Then, he REFUSED TO CHARGE US ANYTHING!!! Wow!! We are so impressed! Tag Construction will definitely be first on our list for any roofing &/or construction needs we have in the future. Thank you, Karl!!
