We went with Tadlock Roofing because of the National Reviews and Hector Marin. They kept their word and even answered every question I asked. We went with the lifetime warranty both shingle and workmanship. I checked everyday to make sure all was done correctly and it was. They do go out of their way to make sure everything is clean and nothing out of the ordinary. There were only a couple of mis-steps but in the roofing business is was unforeseen and they took care of it. Very impressive in today's construction world.

The job is beautiful and my neighbors were impressed also. They even corrected the attic venting on the ridge vents. Highly recommend them!

I will not be using Tadlock in the future and would not recommend this company to friends/family. They said Wind Mitigation Inspection was included, it wasn't. They shared with me shingle colors that months later revealed were not even available for my area. They gave little notice that they'd be coming out to begin the roofing project when I hadn't even selected a new shingle color. One of the solar companies they recommended had a BBB F-rating. They marked the job ""complete"" and didn't invite me to look at the final result first. Several shingles weren't resting properly and they thew out my gutter guards without permission. The workers leaned their ladder against my archway entrance and dented the metal. They did not release the terms and conditions of their extended warranty plan before asking me to pay for it. Final invoice did not include a comprehensive breakdown of services/features purchased. Invoice properly itemized after complaint. After extensive complaining and threatening to cancel the job all together, they offered a discount and included the Wind Mitigation Inspection. Weeks later they replaced the missing gutter guards (again, shoddy install) and corrected the faulty shingles. It's a shame the somewhat-satisfactory roofing result only came after significant aggravation.

Can't recommend. Tadlock installed a traditional shingle roof on my main house and replaced the flat roof on the attached apartment. To be fair, the shingle roof is fine. It's a different story with the $6K flat roof. I was told the only maintenance required would be to repaint the reflective top coat every 10 years. In fact, in less than 10 years I've had two substantial leaks. Most recently the rep stated that the material installed should not have been used on my roof, but upon learning that they did the installation and it was warranted by them, all Tadlock will do is patch the leaks with the same material. Now they won't even respond to my emails and it's inevitable that the roof will leak again. So to sum up, I spent about $6,000 (roughly $6 per square foot) on a roof that now needs to be replaced after only 10 years.

UPDATE: The flat roof has now been repaired. Thanks to Mr. Tadlock for personally seeing that my concerns were satisfactorily resolved

Excellent response to my inquiry for a roof repair. The Sales Consultant (John Hinds) was on time for the appointment, documented everything that was going to be repaired and included a video of the areas to be repaired. The quote was return to me in a timely manner and was very reasonably priced.

The repair got delayed due to weather but they contacted me and rescheduled. The crew contacted me by phone 30 minutes before they arrived. All repairs were made to the roof but there was 1 issue I had with the color they used to patch the roof. I contacted John Hinds that night around 6:00 and left a message to let him know I was concerned about the color of the patch. He contacted me about 30 minutes later and assured me that he would get the issue corrected. The next day John came by the house and resolved the issue personally and the roof looks great.

John was outstanding and went out of his way to make sure the job was done correctly and to my satisfaction.

Tadlock Roofing was recommended to me by a friend and I would recommend them to others.

Shingle roof turned out satisfactorily. Although they had to come back to realign skylights - which is done quite easily from atop the roof system with a tape measure the first time. 2) family members received roofing nails punctured into our feet 3) times since completion, among the almost 100) nails I have found on my roof , in my yard , stuck in fascia trim or in my car tire..They damaged one metal panel on my awning on accident. Took them 2
Two+ weeks to come out with a replacement ( awning left open to the elements while waiting ), they then damaged the replacement. Two weeks later they come out and fix the replacements but destroyed the flashing and essentially placed exposed screws wherever they had to overcome the monstrosity. Of course it looked horrible from underneath and it leaks. Workmanship was very poor on the metal panels...broken off screw head and stripped screws as well.. I have installed miles of metal roofing and can honestly say I have never seen so many mistakes made on 2) 6'-0"" long panels in my life.. Unknown to me , the replacement panel was a different gauge/thickness then the existing panels. When I went on the panels to blow out the gutters ( done dozens of times in the past ) it buckled and became damaged too. 1+ weeks later they came out and dropped 12) replacement panels for the entire awning. Literally - placed them in my driveway and told me they were at my house. 1) of the 12) was damaged from their transporting in the back of their work truck. So , I do not have enough panels to change my entire awning to try and fix / match the mess they started. I will be re-sheeting my awning the right way. Something I should not have to do - at all.

Had them put on my new roof 10 years ago and all went fine like you would expect for $10,000. Every few years the dryer, which vents through the roof, would take to long to dry though. I bought a $40 brush kit that hooks to a drill to clean out the pipe all the way to the roof vent that Tadlock installed. First time it improved the drying, the last couple times not so much. I climbed on the roof to look at the installed vent and discovered there was a black mesh around the exit holes inside the vent. This mesh is catching the lint and blocking the vent. Curiously there's a second vent going to the kitchen exhaust fan that doesn't have any mesh in it. They put the vents in the wrong positions. I figured they made a mistake and would come remove the black mesh so my dryer would dry properly. I told the sales rep from Tadlock about this and he came out to look at it. He walked around the roof and gave me a ballpark figure of $500 to repair their mistake! I figured they'd work with me so I told him I'd pay for shingles they might need if they'd supply the labor to remove the mesh. Never heard back. Moral is to inspect your roof mounted dryer vents after they replace your roof because when your dryer stops drying you're going to be well out of the warranty period.

Excellent response and repair. Office staff is friendly, empathetic and efficient. Consultant responded quickly to my call and in getting me an estimate. Service crew was prompt, did the job quickly and was friendly. We were fortunate to get our roof repair before Hurricane Irma threatened. I will call them again when we need roof repair or replacement.
