After moving to our third house, we decided to get solar. At which point we found out the roof needed to be replaced. A friend recommended T&U roofing. From the very first call to completion excellent communication was made. Brenda, in the office called on a regular bases to give notice of each step and when the crew would arrive. This was very much appreciated. They were punctual and very hard working. Even in this heat they did excellent work. George Cruz and crew were pleasant'. They even did a few little extras. We have lots of dogs and the crew was very careful not to leave the gate open. I give any worker an ""A plus"" since our dogs and their safety are important to us. They also used top quality materials. Their contracts are very specific-no surprises. I can't recommend them enough.

Excellent service, we are very happy with our roofing turned up, they are very specific with the contract as written. Although my budget adds up at the end with the initial quote, I guess they can not really estimate it accurately at the end... but overall we are satisfied with the job, my neighbor are asking us about this company n I referred them.

Negative Stars. Horrible company. They sub out the job. The ""contractor"" was on site once or twice during the MONTH LONG process and only for a few minutes each time. Literally a few minutes. Their license has someone else name on it. They do not clean up everyday and there were enough nails in our yard to build a new house. They never ran a magnet to pick up all their crap and I asked them repeatedly because I did not want my dog to step on nails, get a flat tire or step on one myself. I had to do it everyday myself. Our house is old and we had rotted wood that they would not have replaced unless we made them You think they would want to charge more to fix the bad rafters instead of just laying a new roof over them, but it never crossed their mind. They ordered the wrong size facias, they ordered the wrong size flashing. They put the roof on crooked and had to have then re-do large sections so the pattern would line up. The entire process was a complete joke. There is so much more that they did wrong, but I'll just get myself worked up again, so I'll stop here. The cost for all this? $25,000 for a 1032 square foot house and an additional $3k to remove the chimney. NOT worth $15k if ya ask me, but they have you by the balls once they rip your roof off. Save yourself a mental breakdown and go somewhere else. Anywhere else.

Sometimes, and it's rare, you come across a business so professional and ""stand-up"" you just have to pay them kudos! This is the case with T&U Roofing.
Having the rainiest winter in Los Angeles since the Great El Nino of '97-'98 my roof took a pounding. Leaks were everywhere. I got several bids for repair, but only one roofing company gave me the information, support and follow-up I needed to go about the business of getting something done.
T&U showed up when scheduled, e-mailed me a comprehensive bid, explained the process, took pictures of what they were going to do, made their office accessible to me and always returned my phone calls. This was exactly why I hired them to do the work!

Their attitude was exemplary and the finished product was leak-proof and clean as a whistle.

My roofs and I have not been happier! I live in New York and my property is in Pasadena, California. My roof was leaking, and a friend of mine highly recommended T & U Roofing. I am so happy that I selected them to take care of my roofing issues.
Without even yet having signed the contract etc. they went out and placed a tarp over the roof to ensure that no further damages were incurred.
I have very selective/ particular tenant(s) who complain about anything that is done unsatisfactorily or interrupts their lives and even they had nothing but high praises for the way that T & U Roofing managed to take care of all the roofing issues. Cleaning up all debris/ messes that were made on a daily basis along with taking the precautions necessary to prevent damage to vehicles etc on the property.
Being that I am 3000 miles away, T & U Roofing remained in good communication with me every step of the way. They addressed and handled every concern I had and situation that came up with professionalism and caring kindness.
The job was started and completed on a timely basis (what a concept!) along with wonderful standard of care and professionalism.
I have also now signed up for their maintenance program so that I can ensure that any future roof issues are caught and taken care of before any damage is done to the property.
I would recommend T & U Roofing to anybody that wants their roof repaired, replaced and/ or maintained and with such care that you would think it was their own proof they were taking care of.

They did amazing work. I had a reroof of a tile roof. I also asked to replace dry rot on fascia boards and replace gutters that were too small. Their craftsmanship was very good. They painted all the fascia boards they replaced with two coats. Gutters look great. They guarantee the roof for 5 years. They also offer annual checkups and George told me he will be present when I have solar installed.
I was a little hesitant at first due to the negative reviews. However I went with them because my real estate agent highly recommended them. I'm glad I did choose them as I don't think any other company could have done better work. Their price also was very competitive and their proposal was very detailed with specifics for wood that could be replaced.
I knocked them down 1 star due to communication. I almost went with another roofing company because after I signed the proposal I didn't hear back for several weeks. Then they called on a Friday to tell me they were coming on Monday.
Overall I would definitely use them again.

I have not been impressed with this company. I have been trying to get them to give me just a date that they might come out and they can't even do that. I have spoken to Brenda for over 3 weeks and every time she says they will call me to set up an appointment she either forgets or says sorry I'll get back to. I have called them several times a week to check in and still no appointment or estimate of when they might come out. I have been extremely patient as I know it has been raining and I'm sure all roofers are busy. I still have not heard from them and I am giving up and moving on to another company

I gave these guys a chance to fix some sub-par work they had done on my rain gutters 3 years ago, and sadly I have to say it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Customer service and follow-up were incredibly delayed (a month to respond to emails and multiple phone calls?) I actually thought they had gone out of business due to lack of response, but the nice office girl, Brenda, tried to help after a few exchanges. Finally, Luis showed up and told me he ""didn't like my attitude"" and basically walked away after 5 minutes without even bothering to assess my problem. After that, George, who I had dealt with originally, came out and just gave me 15 minutes of excuses of how I didn't do any maintenance (not true - have had continual maintenance for 3 years) and so he wasn't responsible for anything. Honestly thought it was the biggest load of excuses I've ever heard from a so called professional - hands down. And I've heard a few! George offered no solutions even though I had photos of rain pouring out from under the gutters and flooding my front yard -just kept insisting it was nothing but ""maintenance"". I even had pictures from the original work he'd done, but he had the nerve to blame it on the office girl's ""mistake"" and claimed they hadn't repaired the area in question. WOW... way to throw your employee under the bus! To top it off, he ""wanted to talk to my husband"" who had no involvement in the any of the exchanges...makes you wonder where he's coming from!!!
I think I originally got them from Yelp reviews...but obviously, would run the other way even if they had tried to make things right...which they didn't!

This review is late. About 8 years ago, T & U Roofing removed a 25 year old gabled 1 story house and garage and replaced it with the same, several underlayment layers and a 30 year shingle top. Everything was done in two days. Cleanup was immaculate. Their price beat most competitors, some who had outrageous prices. I've had zero leaks in 8 years. All of these 1 star reviews bothered me considering how professional they treated me. I was managing 29 homes at the time and previously was a contractor for apartments and single family homes. They did not charge for the estimate on this or another home I had to reroof. Maybe I'm just lucky, but they did a great job on a simple roof. I have no idea what they would do on an architecturally difficult roof with spires, angles, etc. so I gave them only 4 stars.
