Wonderful roofing company. Gave me the best price and got it done sooner than expected (fit me into a schedule to get the job done sooner) and I couldn't be happier with the results. They ever cleaned up very well, and then the next day sent out a supervisor to ensure the job and cleanup was done right. A very pleasant and informative staff.

The roofer Mark is very helpful & explains the procedure very well. I did get 2 leaks & some of my shingles fell off after getting the new roofing material. Mark responded right away & sent someone to do the repairs. Mark went the extra mile one time & repaired a leak around one of my windows also. I'm giving 3stars because I did get those leaks.

We contacted this company for a roofing bid. They seemed very knowledgeable and they promised to get back to us. They did not and we contacted the office who promised to get back to us and they did not. Then we contacted the field representative who was very nice and he stated that he was too busy to do our roof. I am giving 2 stars because the field rep was very nice. Regardless this company is not that motivated for business so if they are already being flaky before the job starts... can you imagine what it will be liked once the job gets started.

A total re-roofing of an apartment building can be a stressful process. But my years with T&G in the repairs of those exact same roofs made it an easy choice when the entire re-roofing needed to be completed. The attention to details, including releases, billing, certificates of insurance and most importantly COMMUNICATION was EXCELLENT. I have worked with many roofers over the past 35 years in the property management field and they are by far, the best team I have ever worked with. Even at the end of the project, when there were a few areas of concern, they were immediately corrected without any argument. They satisfied my picky Certificate of Insurance requirements that we had completely and accurately covered liability and workers comp. All Releases (conditional and unconditional) were completed and processed in a manner no other roofer I have ever worked with was able to do. Highly recommended.

Before the contract was signed, they were pretty slow at responding to emails and calls, I'm guessing because El Nino was coming. Winnie and Sharon were easy to work with and very friendly. Tommy would look at the unit via Google Satellite and was able to measure and accurately give me a price. The price did not change from that. He only added on $200-250 because I wanted to replace a few pieces of plywood that had been water damaged from a previous leak.

Once the contract was signed, Mark(I think he was the foreman?) was extremely great to work with. He showed up each day, got his men to work hard, and kept the communication open. This was the first contractor I've worked with where I did not have to call and bug everyday. He'd call or text me and keep me updated! Unheard of! Overall, they finished a 6k sq feet building in 3 days and cleaned up well.

Price wise, they are pretty fair. I went with them because of the fair price and because I like supporting smaller businesses rather than corporations.

Hope I don't have to see them again unless it's at another job! This TPO roof should last me 20-40 years!

Update: almost a year later and no issues. Water does puddle but that's normal and not a big deal. They took off a few tons of gravel and the new stuff is so much lighter anyways. Dont expect the units to be cooler by 10-20 degrees or anything though. It should be cooler but not a lot lot. It does feel a lot cooler to the touch than other things on the roof or the old gravel.

I've referred T&G roofing to about 4 people. I still go to the apartment association meetings and run into Mark all the time and he still remembers me. Sometimes I stand with him and talk to customers about my experience and Mark seems grateful because they landed a few jobs because of it.

I am writing this SPECIFICALLY to counter the one bad review. I recommended Tommy to a friend with a flat roof. Flat roofs are tough.. T & G did a great job and my friend was very happy. About a year ago, I had them use the same product on my house. They did a great job.

Sometimes you get ""bad vibes"" from potential customers: that's the only reason I can think of to ignore new business.

Tommy Scherer and crew are top notch. This is the second time I've contracted with them to replace a roof. They were on time, efficient, answered questions, and kept a tidy job site. I compared with other roofers and T & G Roofing was very competitive and backed their work
up with a warranty. Excellent value.

If I had a question and Tommy wasn't available, his office staff were on top of things. I would easily recommend T & G Roofing, and if I need a roof replaced would go to them again.

I'm so happy I got to use T & G roofing as my roofers. I found them by using my 1st time home buyers insurance and I'm glad they were the ones that came.

They were there for me and were EXTREMELY helpful through out the entire roofing process. They were so professional and prompt with all their appointments. I absolutely love Sharon, she has been the main person I have dealt with and she is really good at what shes does. She's on top of everything, you feel safe trusting her with such a tough situation. They were also very knowledgeable about the type of roof that we have. They know what they are doing and are very good at it.
