Once they have your money don't expect them to answer or return your calls. Very unprofessional.

I paid over $33,000 for solar panels and a monitoring system in 2021. The panels work fine, but the monitoring system has never worked more than 2 days at a time. I have been unable to get any help reconnecting it. Once they get the payments, consumer service is nonexistent.

We bought our solar panels in 2019 from Richard Walsh & we have contacted the company several times because our solar is not working correctly in fact our true up bill this month is almost $2,000 when it has normally been under $400. They refuse to answer our calls, texts, emails even though we have a 30 year warranty. Please do not use or trust this company they will not be there if your system stops working.

I contracted Synergy in late 2018 for my 11.4kW ground-mounted system. In June of 2022, the inverter died. I caught the issue via the monitoring app within a couple of days, and contacted Synergy. They provided some initial support to submit the warranty claim to the inverter manufacturer, but since then they've been hands off. While they are not directly responsible for the failed inverter, their support since the initial filing of the claim has been abysmal. They need to take more ownership of their warranty claims. At this point, in addition to the over $40K that I paid for my system, I'm now out approximately another $2K and counting. There are so many ways Synergy could mitigate the losses to their existing customers, but they chose instead to focus on new installations.
In addition, the initial installation left me scratching my head. I was assured that Synergy would have a site project manager onsite during the construction. Much to my chagrin, they completely subcontracted out the construction to another company, who showed up in their own vehicles. No Synergy PM onsite, I think I saw him once during the 3 day process. Had I known ahead of time that Synergy was only a middle-man, I could have saved significantly. Their hands-off approach from the time they win the contract and hand it over to their subcontractor is disappointing.
Overall, I would NOT recommend going with Synergy. Find another company that cares, and does not charge you a markup for just subcontracting out the work they should be performing.

It took this company over five months to finally get our Enphase monitoring system set up! Now that we have a monitoring system. We can see that our system tripped the circuit breakers back in March! The system has not been producing power since then. Their incompetence has cost us money. Now the system is offline again after only a few hours. We reset the system and it is showing a red light again. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
PLEASE SEND SOMEONE OUT TO FIX THIS ASAP!

A salesman came by offering solar, I told him to give me his pitch and I'm glad I did. It was a great rate on solar panel system for my house and the team at Synergy worked quickly and efficiently to set it up. Shea kept me updated regularly and answered any questions so I never felt in the dark about any part of the process at anytime.
I highly recommend them.

Love the service and customer service are very helpful. Solar monitor are great, and if something wrong with panel, they will fix right away. MY SOLAR agent , still able to contact and help me with some questions about the solar.

I had a great experience with Synergy. Greg B was referred to me by my brother. He was very helpful and educated me on everything I needed to know. The installation happened within 2 weeks and only took about 4 hours. I have since referred 3 of my friends from Church. Thank you Greg and Shea for making it easy to go solar.

Synergy installed a 5.7KWh PV system for us in August 2019. They were expanding business into the Modesto area and were doing it using a third-party company in the area. I do not know if this is the common practice of Synergy, but it did color our experience.
Synergy did not use their own installation crew, at least not the crew that did work for us. That crew (from NorCal Home Systems, I think?) was very good, completed the install in about 5 hours and did a very clean job. They also did several installs for Synergy in my neighborhood.
Post installation support is why Synergy only received 3 stars. They do not respond to customer contacts. Our SolarEdge inverter randomly stops reporting, but we can see it is still operational. SolarEdge says to contact our installer, Synergy doesn't respond. The communications card is probably the issue, but they won't acknowledge emails, phone calls, or even letters in the mail. We've given up on trying to get the card looked at/replaced/or the situation resolved.
So, price wise, they were middle of the pack on quotes, installation was well done (by the third party contractors) but Synergy themselves? They didn't really offer much as a value-added reseller.
