I contacted Symplify to replace the flat portion of my roof in Burlingame--an older tar and gravel section over my living room that appeared to be leaking. I'd last repaired that roof about 10 years ago, and had fully replaced it about 20 years back.

Ethan reached out and provided a bid quickly. His info and professionalism were excellent, and the images and details that he provided in the proposal were top notch. I'd gotten three additional bids, and Ethan's info and detail, both in writing and on the phone, were by far the best, and I chose Symplify for the work.

Ultimately we had another bad rain and it turned out that the leaking problem was not from the roof, but rather from the stucco around my large front window, and so I paused the roofing work. (This was unfortunate for me, in the sense that the window and front wall will be more expensive to repair than the roof replacement would have been, but that has nothing to do with Ethan or Symplify! It's just bad luck for me)

If I need to do roofing work on this house in the future, Ethan would be my first call. I was very happy with my interactions with him.

Excellent roofing company! My initial encounter was with Brian over the phone who was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Symplify did an amazing job on my mom's roof and kept us updated and informed every step of the way. Justin was very thorough during the on-site quote visit. Reasonable pricing! Ethan and Ivan were both great at keeping us informed every step of the way. They started the project quickly and worked efficiently during the holiday season. I highly recommend them!

If you're looking for a new roof, look no further and go with Symplify. My grandparents needed a new roof as it hasn't been serviced in probably 40+ years and they had major leaking issues. They don't speak the best English so I took on the project calling multiple vendors and ultimately made a choice based on price, professionalism, and availability.

Symplify got my bid based on how quickly they were able to get out to the job, took comprehensive pictures to show me the damage, and had an informative presentation to walk me through the entire process of this job. Their pricing was very competitive and they were able to get out very quickly to complete the job.

They were always a phone call away and there was a project manager always on site. These guys are top notch professionals and my grandparents are very satisfied with their new roof completed just before the stormy season.

Working with different types of contractors on all sorts of jobs previously, I would consider Symplify Roofing as one of the top contractors with regards to being informative, punctual, responsible, and with very reasonable rates. I worked with Ethan and his crew, and they were responsive and considerate of my family's needs. Ethan is tech savvy and is quite detailed in his inspection and presentation to us concerning the existing conditions and job scope. My father was physically ill during the time of planned reroofing, and Ethan was considerate and willing to reschedule to another day. We were worried initially that some debris may fall into the room below, and Ethan and his team was willing to perform some extra steps to cover the area. Ethan was quite responsive for the whole project, normally responding to my questions within several hours. Even though the completion of work delayed a bit due to city inspection issues, which was probably not their fault, the overall experience was very smooth and pleasant. Their pricing is also very reasonable in Bay Area standards and current inflation rates. So overall, a definitely thumbs up on a job well done! Thank you again, Ethan and Symplify Roofing for being a good ethical contracting company offering good value and quality in this day and age, which says a lot! Keep up the good work!

We chose them because they were comparable in price and Ethan provided a very detailed presentation of their products and service and reviewed our roof layout for us to better understand the project. Ivan was helpful, friendly and communicated the project updates via text and email. Mateo and his crew were very professional, reliable and completed the job promptly and left our property neat and tidy each day. The Team was diligent in providing all the necessary paperwork and follow through to complete the job. We are pleased with our new roof and the turnaround time.

Excellent service. Very professional. Very communicative (unusual with most contractors). Informed me about the whole project in advance. Educated me about things I did not know about (like roof venting). Responded without delay to my every question and concern. Always arrived on time and according to schedule. Very contained and clean during the roof work, and left the site spotless. They used Owens Corning Preferred Protection materials (shingles, etc.) with which the roof is warranted for 50 years. I recently decided to replace my existing roof which consisted of metal imitation tile place over a shake roof. I received quotes from seven roofing companies. I chose Symplify roofing as their quote was competitive but mostly because I was very impressed with their Project Manager, Ethan Periman. Ethan came to my home, was very professional in explaining in detail the process of removing the old roofs and installing the new roof. He showed me samples of the roofing material and went over the warranty. The day the work began, Ethan came with his crew. He showed them what was to be done. For the next four days the crew worked extremely hard and professional in removing the old roofs and installing the new roof. At the end of each day, they went around the house cleaning up and debris from the work on the roof. I am extremely happy with the work performed and highly recommend Symplify roofing. I feel, without a doubt, that i made the right decision in choosing Symplify for the job. I would also like to thank Ivan of the office crew who was extremely helpful in all ways.

I needed to replace an aging roof and install gutter guards, and Symplify Roofing did an excellent, efficient job, explained everything clearly, and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. In all of our interactions they were very professional and pleasant. My roof is just on the line between steep enough for shingles and too flat for shingles. My search for roofers boiled down to two good and well-priced choices, and I chose Symplify because they recommended the more cautious approach using non-shingle modified bitumen, and explained their recommendation clearly. Shingles would have been more attractive, but I figured erring on the side of caution bodes well for all aspects of the work when insurance companies are just looking for reasons to deny coverage. Overall I'm very happy with the job Symplify Roofing did.
