Excellent and prompt service. Mike was prompt & understanding getting someone out almost immediately. Jose could not have been more thorough and professional. Would always recommend!

Roofing at a very high quality with attention paid to details.
Office staff very responsive.

Happiness is ... the first rainfall after my brand new roof went up and not having a care in the world! This has to be one of the best contractors I have ever worked with. From my Project Manager (Francisco) and his fantastic communication every step of the way to the crew that did a beautiful job replacing my old roof. I am very happy with the work they did and every aspect of this project.

These guys suck!! No concern for safety, cleanliness or noise level. Since when is it acceptable for a roofing company to drill a hole through the ceiling?? Also, can't give you any peace even on a weekend at 7:30 am. Would give negative rating if I could, DO NOT do business with these people.

Their drivers are driving on the freeway tailgating, cutting people off, and zig zagging through traffic! No respect for the citizens on the road or the safety of others. Don't worry, I have a picture of the driver who was so close to me on the freeway that I could only see his front end bumper! WILL NEVER USE THEM!

Sylvester Roofing (Kurt King was the project manager) worked with my General Contractor to install a new roof with a 10-year guarantee during August 2012. The roof worked well for 6 years until February 2018. At that time, we developed a leak or leaks. In an attempt to get some assistance and resolution for the problem, I worked with Sylvester Roofing staff for 21 months (from February 2018 to October 2019). In October 2019, Sylvester Roofing Staff agreed that there was in fact a leak (actually 3 leaks) from the roof and made arrangements to repair the ceiling damage due to the leaks. Repairs to the roof and the ceiling were completed about December 2019.
A new problem developed October 2020 which involved one of the new metal drains that Sylvester Roofing staff had installed when the repairs were made in December 2019. Condensation on the new dysfunctional metal drains began leaking through the ceiling. Sylvester Roofing staff maintained that they had no responsibility for the damage done by dysfunctional drains installed by their company (or their contracted workers). At that time my General contractor called to discuss the issue with Sylvester Roofing staff. My contractor told me that someone would be getting back with me. After a rainstorm on March 3, 2021, we found a leak that was not related to the dysfunctional drain. Another piece of the ceiling came loose during that day. To date (March 18, 2021), no corrective action has been taken fix the leaks or the additional damage that occurred to the ceiling. It should be noted that the roof is still under the 10-year guarantee.

I contacted Sylvester, they showed up and actually listened to what I wanted. New roof, all my fascia needed to be replaced and some rafter sticks need to be replaced as well. They were able to get me in in a week (others 3months). They quoted me on the entire project and did not try to charge me a lot on extras for all the work at an exorbitant rate like ALL other contractors. Seriously, most other contractors charge $7-$9 a foot for fascia work, and $150 for rafters. They included the entire cost in the quote, and was EXTREMELY REASONABLE !! When they came there were mostly 10 guys swarming over my house, getting it done. They reduced the man count when doing the carpentry, but brought the huge team back when roofing. They did my 2500 sqf house and a full two car garage in five days ! Also they were very flexible to work with me to keep the costs down, I bought all the fascia boards and 6 skylights to help me keep the costs down (Dixieline, Window Depot) They even installed them for me as part of the project. They went out of their way to daily clean up the work site, really treating me like a valued customer. Actually recommended that I go buy some more vents for my closed vaulted ceiling and installed without charging me more. I have done roofing at least five times, and I know what's involved, they exceeded my expectations, the product now a days is extremely improved and meets very high wind loads. I cannot recommend their professionalism, exceeding expectations, friendly, not trying to take advantage of me with additional requirements, and working with me to keep costs down. I know what it takes to build, these guys are what you want. I could not be happier with the job. Even my neighbors notice how great this team was, and wanted to know their name based upon the quality of the job, impact to the area and the speed of install. By the way, I'm in San Diego, somehow I'm listed in San Fran, because of VPN

This is about the slowest roofing company I have ever seen. The project manager, Kurt KIng is a rude SOB. I asked him for the project start date, so that I can take my solar panels off the roof. I was called a moron for asking him for a start date, and he told me that a timeline could not be determined. The problem I have with that statement is that what contractor works without schedules, timelines, and dates. I don't understand how you can operate a business without schedules and dates. Obviously, this was a lie. I walked out of my townhouse and it was 10 a.m. in the morning and nobody was working. How can the project manager tell me that you are delayed and the workers and taking breaks before lunch.
