Surface Shield did a great job with some applying silicone to part of our roof and replacing a solar attic fan. Everyone we dealt with at the company (estimator, scheduler, foreman) was communicative, professional, and easy to work with. When there was a small issue with the date that our job was originally scheduled, I was very impressed by how proactive the team was in communicating with each other (on a weekend) to reschedule our job on a day that would work for us. They were proactive and made sure to give us great service on the rescheduled date. Highly recommend this company for roof work.

After battling with a leaky roof for a couple of years I finally decided to have the whole thing redone. I got bids from several different companies. I wasn't looking for the cheapest and I wasn't looking for the most expensive either. I wanted high quality work, excellent knowledge, service and good products. Ryan was my estimator and he was fabulous at working with me and explaining the different options to me. I originally came in thinking I wanted a different roofing system that wouldn't be a good fit on my house. He explained the different options and features I could pick from. They were able to get me scheduled pretty quickly. I live in Wahiawa, so of course there were some weather delays! But they kept me updated all along the way. There was a lot of termite damage from the leaks so I was expecting additional work on repairing that. They kept me appraised on the estimate on those unexpected costs and made sure I knew what was happening there. We did have one hiccup when It came to reinstalling the PV panels but we were able to work it out. Overall the job was really professional and I am very satisfied. It's been about a year and no leaks!

I would have to agree with part of David's comment. Unfortunately, for us, United Builders and Ajay made an offer to do some projects on our home. However, the communication with him was at best poor, and the job no different.

I had a great experience with Surface Shield roofing. We purchased a house with a Monier tile roof with several missing/cracked tiles and a flat roof that was deteriorated and leaking. After receiving several quotes from highly rated Yelp contractors, we chose Surface Shield based on Zach's responsiveness. It wasn't the least expensive but it was the most thorough quote. After the work was completed, we still had some leaking around the skylights. Zach sent his guys to caulk around them and now they don't leak at all. They take a lot of pictures to show you exactly what they are doing. I really appreciated their professionalism and would not hesitate to use Surface Shield again.

Zach and his team did an awesome job on our roofing project for our single family home prior to installing our PV panels. The crew arrived in the morning and was done with our roof by late afternoon. Also since we were so impressed with the quality and service on our residence - we requested a quote for our office building. The price was very competitive and again the quality of the work and service on our office building was above and beyond our expectations.

In January 2016, I had two houses coated with a product, promising me a 30 year warranty. Work was done satisfactorily, but I have been asking them for the warranty for over a year and still no warranty. Not sure if I have any warranty.

Shon and his people did a fantastic job putting a silicone roofing system on our roof (and at a great price). Had multiple offers, but they came in at a very reasonable price for what I wanted and far below the rest of the roofers. They put the roof on quickly and efficiently. Later when an issue came up from a defect with our gutter leaking...they came out and repaired the problem at no additional cost.

Great experience from start to finish. After multiple other estimates by other companies, Roy was a breath of fresh air; no pressure, no hype, just clear and helpful rundown of the pros and cons of what we could replace our shake roof with. The price was in line with other estimates BUT included a lifetime warranty where other company's prices were for 30-year or less pro-rated warranties. Moreover, the roof recommended to us wasn't the typical sales job of pushing the most expensive option, instead Roy suggested and we agreed with a less expensive option that still met all of our requirements.

I had to be out of town during the work and Ian was very helpful in going over the process with my wife while updating both of us as the job progressed. At the end, Ian sent multiple pictures to me since I was still out of town to ensure we were happy with the results. Job was completed in less time than initial estimate; refreshing in today's world!

Bottom line: I have no hesitation recommending Surface Shield to anyone. All of the positive reviews I'd read on them were proven true for our install; professional and friendly from sales through install at a reasonable price with an unbeatable warranty!
