I called Supreme Roofing during the summer to check out my roof in preparation for winter. Their rep Doug came over and inspected my roof (actually went on the roof), said it was ""good for another 10-12 years"". Low and behold winter is here, now rainwater is leaking into my living room, dining room and bedroom. I called Supreme, spoke with Doug. He said he didn't inspect entire roof and wasn't required to, start mocking me. I informed him regarding leaving a negative review, said he didn't care he was retiring anyway. Thought I read this was a family owned business. Move on...there are so many skilled, licensed roofing companies out there, would not recommend using their services.

Doug & his team are incredible. His office manager is world class! They are the best for roofing, gutter work and anything you need. It takes time because they and Doug are busy. But as a Stage 4 cancer survivor money is important because cancer killed the wallet. Call, wait & use them! They are the best!

Something's happened with the owner, Doug, and this company. He used to be so conscientious and professional. Not anymore. In the last few years, we've had to call several times to schedule appointments for him to check the flat roofs on our house and garage. Three years ago he told us they needed to be replaced but that we could maybe get by for another year. We hadn't budgeted for a replacement at that time, so we waited. About a year later, with some visible wear in spots, we called again (and again). This time he said both roofs looked fine and they could last another year. (When we asked about his assessment a year earlier that they needed replacing right away, he chuckled and responded, ""I must have been going through a slow period and was looking for jobs."") Two months later we had a leak. His crew patched it and Doug assured us everything else was fine. After this year's rains, a lot of the fine gravel used on the roofs washed off, prompting more calls that took him several days to respond to. When he finally came to our house, he said the house roof needed replacement but the garage roof looked good -- even though he took only a quick glance at it. (During his visit, he also seemed very cavalier and rushed.) We received his estimate for the work, but when we called three times to follow up with a couple questions and to schedule the work, he never returned our calls. In the meantime, another leak developed at the spot where his crew had patched before. During Covid-19 we weren't able to communicate with anyone at Supreme Roofing. His receptionist no longer answered the phone and no one returned our messages. So, we went with a different company. They gave us an estimate the next day and started work within the week. In the process of their work they found damaged wood (that had to be replaced) around the leaky area that resulted from Supreme doing an inadequate patching job. They also found wet, rotted wood in the garage roof (that had to be replaced) due to leaks that had been going on for over a year from the previous material being old and brittle. These are things Doug didn't notice -- nor did he even bother to check. Really disappointing. We used to enjoy doing business with Doug and recommended Supreme Roofing to all our friends. Not anymore.

I used Supreme Roofing and wouldn't recommend them if they hadn't provided excellent service! Talk to Doug. He doesn't really chit chat a lot because you pay him to do awesome roof work :)

Absolutely a pleasure to work with and highly recommended. Doug was our roof inspector and gave us a good idea of what we had when we bought our house (low quality shingles over multiple gravel rock roofs). Less than a year latter we called him to give us a new roof after some leaking. He and his crew were always there as expected and very clean and professional. They also worked with us scheduling around our solar panels having to be removed, and reinstalled. Everything was handled with the city inspector and went as planned. You can't do better than to work with this company.

Owner Doug Ratliff gave us a fantastic consultation and assessment of our 100-year-old roof. He could not have been more knowledgeable and generous with his information. We fully expected and were told by everyone else (who knew less about roofing than Mr. Ratliff) that we would need to re-roof entirely. But after Mr. Ratliff's detailed inspection, he found we surprisingly did not, saving us $20-30k. His honesty and integrity are forever appreciated and we will call on Supreme Roofing for the contracting roof work that is needed. Highest recommendation from us.

From the first call to have my Spanish tile roof inspected and known leaks addressed through to the completion of the job the experience was perfect. Doug came out exactly on time for the initial appointment/inspection. He explained the issues and how to best resolve them. All through scheduling I was kept informed of when the job would be done. His crew were just as pleasant and professional. There was no hard sell, spin or nonsense. It was just a very honest and straightforward process by people who take pride in their work and their reputation. An exceptional contractor experience.
