I was visited with a door to door SunVena representative. This young man would not take ""not interested"" for an answer. He went on even when I told him solicitation is not allowed in the city limits. He was rude and obstinate. Why would anyone want to do business with a company that doesn't respect rules or people?

im not gona lie.they have a great sales guy named Kevin who attended us.amped us up about our credit an wanted things moving fast.we are paying way more for electricity now.if the lights go out we loose it aswell.theres no extra battery to keep your house powered.you have too keep insurance on the panels once they cancel theres after about a month or two.you cant get in contact with nobody.i wish I would've studied the company more.theyre robbing people.you also have to pay for your panels to come down if anything happens to your roof.they told us our roof was okay to put up the panels.know we find out it wasn't suppose to go up.we have to pay to take them down.fix the roof.than get them back up.i just want to get them removed but it close to impossible.please do your research.dont go through this headache.its not worth it.supposible saving the environment.sunvena are thieves.

FROM BAD TO WORSE!!!
UPDATE 10/25/23 - IT GOT EVEN WORSE! The owner Hunter is a clown that will ignore you and blame everything and everybody else besides his own company!!!!
His company shut off our solar systems and never turned it back on. After installing a monitor that was required from the date of purchase. Mind you you've had these solar panels for over a year and did not have this monitor installed the whole time.
We got stuck with a $755 Duke energy bill and all Hunter can say is that ""this was a blessing in disguise"" and tried to make light of our situation.
It was extremely hard to get him to answer the phone. It seems like he only likes communicating via text message, which is super immature.
Avoid this company at all costs! There's other companies that are a lot less expensive that may not offer the same warranty but at least you don't have to deal with Hunter and his sales men dragging issues out for months at a time and costing you a ton of money in the process.
.........
I deleted my original review after the owner Hunter called to try and come to a resolution.
We have had solar panels for over one year. We were originally quoted by our salesman bumoo a Duke energy bill of $80-$100 after the installation of our solar panels.
Our bill has never been less than $200 a month! We reached our highest Duke bill of over $350 in the middle of summer this year! And that's on top of the solar panel loan of $370 a month!!!!!!
We tried to work with our salesman further to come up with a resolution. He stopped by our home and looked through all of our Duke energy bills that I had saved to see what we were producing. Based off of the Duke energy bill we were over producing and should have been receiving credits towards the next month. In his words, we were supposed to be receiving rollover credits for the amount of energy or paid back by Sunvena for our Duke energy bills as per their guarantee. He said that he had to confirm things with his manager, whose name I'm still unsure of.
We heard from Bumoo a few days later via text message and receive screenshots of him, and some guy named Dragon, who Duke energy lies and mentioned that we needed to compare apples to apples.
So unfortunately, we got left with that as our resolution. I don't feel like Duke energy was lying so I made a huge review on Google listing my concerns and that's when Hunter reached out.
His resolution was for us to get a monitor, put on our solar panel system to see what was going on with the energy that we were collecting. I found out through my own research that these monitors are mandatory with every solar panel installation. Why it took us over a year to get that installed is beyond me.
The technician that installed the monitor given to us for free by hunter, shut off our solar panels on August 14 when he installed the new monitor, and never turned our panels back on!
Today the new enphase technician came out to see why the monitor wasn't receiving any data, and he saw that our solar panels were off this whole time!!!
I will not be deleting any more reviews until we have a solid resolution. We are a small business that serves our community at several farmers markets all through the central Florida area. This was meant to help our business save money and be more sustainable. Now we are pinching pennies to try and pay both our electricity bill and this enormous $100,000 solar panel loan.
I will update this post as problems are either resolved or not resolved. At this point myself, and my husband will not be holding our breath.

Sun Vena canvassed my neighborhood soliciting solar services. I clearly have a no soliciting sign at my door - didn't phase the sales person Adrian in the least. When I told him no soliciting & asked he leave he commented ""it's ok you probably don't qualify anyway"". A few steps down my yard he says ""broke down ass house anyway"". Called Sun Vena to report it & was told ""all the supervisors are gone for the day"" ! This occurred on 9/19/23 at 4:24pm on Sarita St in Sanford

I have repeatedly been solicited to by this company going door to door in my neighborhood. I've put signs out that state no soliciting, I've ignored them ringing my doorbell, and still they come back repeatedly. Over three times now. Once, I opened the door and told a representative distinctly (politely) I was not at that time, and never going to be interested, in their product. They came back again today and interrupted my family's dinner. I don't even know if this company is legitimate, but I wouldn't do business which such scummy salespeople even if I wanted solar.

Was approached to do solar and after doing some digging we decided to go with sunvena. Very good experience, they were quick and kept me in the loop on each step. Have already received two of my neighbors to them. Job well done

We trusted this company with our solar install and regret this decision immensely. Our panels were installed November 2022, in May, 6 months later we had our first leak. I sent a support email and was sent a crew to inspect. The attention we received was quick and responsive- something the owner has given himself a standing ovation over.
The report I received was ""Found one incorrectly made flashing, we reinstalled it correctly, and made sure it was sealed properly.""
This very serious problem went on for 6 months before being discovered causing serious damage to our roof. Like the report says the flashing was corrected but the damage that was done by this is still there and we also developed second leak. Again, multiple crews sent. Second leak was repaired by the second crew. Was then told it was not from the panels but that they fixed it anyway. Interesting right- this will be used as a ""look at how great we are"" but is it really because of the flashing damage?
After informing me of the now second repair that needed to be made on the roof I was also told that my roof was deteriorating and appeared to look 20 years old. Interesting again because it's only 8 years old and was in great condition and passed the inspection by SunVena. But here is the catch with their ""inspection""-
They write in the contract ""Roof Condition Disclaimer: SunVena Solar is not a roofing contractor and makes no representations and offers no opinions regarding condition, workmanship, age, and/or life expectancy of any roof and/or its components. Any roof inspection performed by SunVena Solar prior to Installation is to make a preliminary determination as to dead load for purposes of bearing the System's weight only. Homeowner understands and agrees it is their sole responsibility to have the roof inspected by a licensed third-party roofing contractor to determine condition, workmanship, age, and/or life expectancy of any roof.
Crazy because they use the fact that they are a roofing company as a selling point. So which is it?
The work that was done was sloppy and resulted in damage that we still have. We have leak stains in two spots that are so bad, ceiling paint can't cover them. Our roof needs to be replaced, multiple Sunvena employees have express that to me so that is our demand.
It has been more than two weeks since the owner or any upper management has responded to my emails. His one and only response to me was to praise his company for being responsive, then ultimately deny the responsibility his company has for the roof damage we incurred. I'm very curious about the experience that is required to work for this company. After installation, we had soffit damage that we knew would be repaired. The repair- a 2x4 glued over the damage. With a ""you can paint it if you want"" remark before the guy left. Needless to say they sent another person out- not a Sunvena employee to actually make the repair.
Do your research and understand they send out a ""review specialist"" with an actual laptop to have you write multiple reviews for multiple sites the day of installation BEFORE YOUR PANELS ARE EVEN TURNED ON. So you decide how accurate these 5 stars actually are.

Had a great experience with SunVena. They did everything they promised. was a quick and easy process to deal with. I have already recommended two of my neighbors

Don't use them. They are the absolute worst company that I have ever worked with. We've lost several days of wages because they can't get their stuff together and get their stories straight. Use someone else because this company requires way to much energy to deal with.

Hunter from SunVena is amazing - I will sign the contract ASAP
