Beyond professional, exceptional service. Rene immediately put me at ease during what was for me a very stressful time. Honest and friendly, he is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure things were done right and that I was satisfied. My roof was done perfectly and I had no hesitation recommending him to my neighbors. Since then, I have used them to paint the exterior of the house and plan to use them again should the need arise.

Stay Away from this Company. Contract written under non-existent address as well as owner's state contracting license # CCC 1327040, Rene Jaimes, listed on State of Florida DBPR web site with same non-existent address. Prior to signing the contract, he agreed to proving release of lien, written documentation that the workers (that worked on my home) were employed by Sunshine Roofing (per email), and to provide a Certificate of Insurance, an Accord form. I only recently received a release of lien and had to ask for it from the supplier not because this company wanted me to give it to me. He is refusing to provide, Certificate of Insurance now that he was paid in full. He states because I refused a Wind Mitigation by a company of his choosing. There was NOTHING in writing on his contract that states I was REQUIRED to have a Wind Mitigation after completion of the roof to get the Accord form.

When the owner submitted the request for the City for a permit to replace the roof, he neglected to list part of the job which was strapping of the rafters, thus that part of his work was not inspected for me. He also neglected to put the correct fee he was requesting for this job on the permit request. After talking to the City Inspector, they could not come back and inspect the work due to the owner neglecting to list this work. Was this done on purpose so his work wouldn't be inspected?? This neglect of his will cost me an additional 200 to 250 dollars to get an engineer to inspect the roof for proper strapping.

Owner was rude, yelled at customer (like I was a child) for mailing payment to his business address that was printed on his contract. He neglected to complete a forwarding mail address with the Postal Service for this business address thus my payment was not received. I was then verbally accused of being a liar and he said I was trying to hold his money and that I didn't have the money to pay him. I don't live in the area, (he knew that) he failed to call, email or text me the day they started the job, or the day the first inspection was completed or the final inspection. Then he was angry because I didn't send second payment per the contract, like I was supposed to know what progress had been made when I live 4 hours away. He again got angry and defensive with customer and customer's brother when questioning his work. Treating us like children, as if we knew nothing about roofing (we have all had roofs installed in the past, not our first roofing job on our homes, at 65 years of age). He is not honest, beware of this company, not worth the stress and he is definitely not a man of his word !

Would definitely recommend and use Sunshine Roofing again. They re-roofed a rental for me in FL, I'm in PA. I had to completely trust that they would handle everything without me being present . All phone calls were answered and communication was excellent. They are very reliable, did a great job from start to finish. Thank you so much for taking great care of our property.

Bunch of gentlemen over here at sunshine roofing. Fair price. Great crew. They know everyone in the city so permitting was never an issue. Best show in town. Look no further.
