My wife and I had our roofs for both main house including a covered patio and garage replaced by Sunshine Roofing back in November. We previously bid the job out to several roofers around the Pasadena area, but ended up going with Sunshine because of 3 reasons: recommended by relative, competitive pricing, and they have been in business the longest. The owner Michael was knowledgeable, he met with us on several occasions throughout the 2 weeks construction to ensure the process went smoothly with inspections and rain mixed in the schedule. His job site superintendent Alvin was professional and hardworking man who led his team did a fantastic job on our new light weight tiled roofs. During construction it was discovered our rain gutters were in bad shape, Michael gave us a reasonable price. The gutters were replaced by his sub who was very nice to work with. The crew even replaced some of our exposed roof trusts, placed and painted metal flashings around them to prevent water damage. They placed new chimney caps and even painted one of the chimneys for me. One of the chimney caps fell off hit several tiles after a heavy rain and wind. I called Michael, he sent his workers back out a few days later to reinforce the cap and replaced all cracked tiles. It's been almost 3 months since we got our new roofs, and it's been strangely raining like cats and dogs in So Cal. But we are so glad our roofs are done professionally, and they look beautiful. We love our new roofs. To put icing on the cake, Michael told us to expect rebate from the tile manufacturer previously which we almost forgot. This past week, FedEx showed up with the rebate card. Michael delivered on his promise.

Don't waste your time. Awful customer service. Didn't keep multiple appointments and didn't fix the problem and stopped answering the phone. If there was zero star, I will give them that.

Sunshine Roofing provides professional and thorough roof work. Many of our neighbors in San Marino are very pleased with their new roofs!! Our roof was in disrepair and the experience was hassle free. If you need a repair or a brand new roof, we highly recommend Sunshine Roofing. Their prices are competitive and they do GOOD work.

Gave them a call due to my Mother's 35 year old house roof failing. The guy that came for our estiamte was about 30minute late, however he was very informative of what needs to be done and gave us plenty of options we could do to replace the roof. Out of the 5 roofers we have found, some of which were referred by friends and family, Sunshine was the most reasonable priced. Took them about 2 weeks to demo and install our new roof, and their workers did a fantastic job keeping the place clean. Their tile installers took their time and the results showed. One of our neighbors who recently got a new roof done was not installed as good as Sunshine did, and my mother is very happy with how her new roof turned out! Glad we chose Sunshine for our job!

Now after about 2 years, my roof is leaking! If they answer some lady speaking with heavy Asian accent, just hangs up! I call back even blocking my number day after day. No answer. My roof was supposed to have a 25 year warranty. HORRIBLE COMPANY!! Now I have to get my roof repaired or file a insurance claim!! I am really upset with this company. But they don't care.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!!! All the one star reviews are dead on but even one star is way too good for this business. Michael came out to give out competitive estimate and promises that he can't keep. Once your old roof is removed you are in for a wild ride. However, they are pretty quick at two things. 1.removing your old roof 2.collecting money from you. And the rest they do it whenever they feel like it.

My schedule got delay without notice. Sunshine roofing didnt keep their promise (schedule, keeping delay). Michael replied the quote so quick, but once committed, he never call back. He didn't even know his workers came or not. The office just called for payment. no more business for SUNSHINE ROOFING

Went very well! Met Michael and he provided an estimate for a repair due to the rain we received a couple of weeks ago. Repair job completed within a day! Quick & painless!!

Unsure what the reviews are referencing to, but had a completely different experience. Met the general manager for an estimate & he was timely. Quote was provided within a reasonable timeframe as promised. And the job was completed within the week.
