Took awhile to search for a good installer I believe around 6. I was impressed with the amount of information they gave me, answered all my questions honestly, was the best price, and matched the best warranty. I did catch other companies try to push a product, try to avoid/dodge specific questions which I already knew the answer to, or even go fast with the numbers to make battery storage look better financially(at my time was still too expensive to make sense). It's a big enough company to feel comfortable with but small enough that they do a good job. It's been running great for about 5 months. Erik did a great job answering all my specific questions and starting everything up.

One of the hardest things to find was really good reviews about roofing which even some competitors that talked about how good they are but had bad reviews and mostly contract others since they were so big.

If I had to say something they could approve upon was didn't realize all the different people I had to talk to and the whole process. Maybe a pdf or flow chart. Didn't realize how many steps from start to getting SDGE to turn it on. They might have told me but was too busy asking all my questions.

Like others, I did a lot of research and interviewed many (5) solar providers before choosing Sunline. I made the right choice. I met with all the big providers before a friend recommended Sunline. After reading the Yelp reviews I scheduled a meeting with Gerry Ebert. Every step of the process went smoothly and the entire Sunline team (roofers, panel instal team, project manager, accounting) were a pleasure to work with. The team kept me updated every step of the way. If you are considering solar, give Sunline a call. Now I understand why so many people rate them 5 stars.

I had Sunline install solar panels on my roof on Sept of last year. Very professional crew and great customer service. They replied to all my questions after the panels were put up. I had other solar companies come out and they gave me higher quotes with less efficient panels. Sunline's quote was the lowest and they didn't hassle me with phone calls every other day like the other companies. I reccomend anyone to at least ask for a quote from them if your looking into solar panels. I love my new SDGE bill now...zero.

My array was installed by Sunline a little more than a year ago. All went smoothly and I have been very happy with the outcome. Through no fault of Sunline's, the company that manufactured the microbatteries that I included in my project went out of business. Because Sunline is an upstanding business, they offered to install additional panels at no cost to me to offset the loss of support for the microbatteries.
I have arguably been a very demanding client and Sunline has always responded promptly and satisfactorily.

Sunline recently installed a 5.1kw LG photovoltaic cell system on my roof in Oceanside. Every aspect of the process was excellent. They kept every promise they made. We've had our Sunline solar system for three years this month, and love it. For the last two years, our average SDG&E bill was $14/month for a 3500-square-foot home, but that was only because last summer we were home all summer (we teach and don't work summers) and ran the A/C all the time. The year before, SDG&E owed us $20 for the year. :-) Sunline's estimate was perfect for us! About six or seven months ago, we also had an issue with a solar panel that was under-performing, and Sunline came out immediately to get it fixed. Their customer service is top-notch!

Obtained 3 quotes for my solar panels and decided to go with Sunline, the 5.2Kw system has been running like a champ since then, they provide an app to keep track of the energy production, obtained the best price of all 3 quotes, they were very honest and not try to upsell me like other companies did in batteries and electrical panel upgrades; Excellent communication thru the whole process they take care of all the permits, the installation crew did the job in 2 days and were very polite and conscious, they had a very clean installation and matched the 3 different paint colors of my house to touch up the lines, very pleased with the professionalism of this company, from the estimator to the follow up representative.
