I am so grateful to Suncoast roofing and Gary and their whole team . They have completely redone my flat roof and made it last for 12 years . Through all of these terrible rains it is lasted especially this past month. I am so very thankful for Gary and his team do such a great job they're very professional and react quickly. I recommend them highly and feel their very honest and a truthful company.

I had a roof installed by Gary Muensterman and his crew several years ago. He was recommended by my contractor and used as a sub. The first year our roof leaked and I could not get Gary to come out and look at the problem. He eventually sent out a crew and they butchered my roof even more. Turns out they improperly installed the metal valley. Gary came out and looked at it and agreed that was the problem. Now he won't return my calls and will not come out and fix it. In the mean time I still have leaks in that area. I highly recommend you do your homework on Suncoast roofing.

Because the roof is technically the HOA's responsibility and they hired these guys, I have been stuck in a nightmare for over three years with no end in sight. They have been unable to fix the issue, and not only do we have mold, but we still have rain pouring through our ceiling after heavy rains every year. I am not an expert by any means, but their methods seem to defy logic, blindly patching up portions of the roof and crossing their fingers. What makes their incompetence worse, however, is their attitude. Gary is indignant with me every time I call to report the leaks, looking for every opportunity to shift the blame. His worker, Eduardo, is full of excuses for being late (e.g., ""Your home is so far."") or not doing a thorough job (""You have a flat roof so of course it will leak.""). Please spare yourself this torment.

Boy, did Gary make something absolutely daunting easy. First of all, he was one of the few that came out and actually got on my roof to check it out. Some others only looked at google maps. He wanted to see if he thought the roof was reparable, which I knew it wasn't, but I appreciated that take on it. He gave a fair estimate (I had gotten 3), with no hidden extra costs. I accepted the bid and he got right on it! What a relief when it rained the last few days! Professional, courteous, attentive. Thanks Gary.

Gary and his team at Suncoast Roofing Company are as good as it get full stop !!!. Buying a roof is not as exciting as many things in life but it does not have to be a bad experience as we had heard the horror stories. Suncoast made it a pleasure. They gave VERY reasonable pricing ( 1/3 ) less than most competitors. They completed the job quickly and with expert attention to detail. Gary was always willing to go the extra mile and do small jobs at no charge that were not included in the bid because they needed to be done. Beyond that- Gary is a man of integrity, strong moral character and full transparency in billing. Try finding that in a contractor more less a roofer.

I cannot recommend them strongly enough and call his clients. I did and they all gave the same report.

Understanding that with the recent rains in Southern California, roofing companies are busy, I still cannot fathom how this company stays in business. They promise to call and/or show up after engaging in the process of taking a job and then they disappear for weeks at a time, often never answering their phone when chased. SO glad I didn't pay up front since no work ever commenced. Don't even bother trying this company.

Gary and his team replaced the roof on our almost 100 year old beach cottage in Hermosa Beach. Needless to say, when they started peeling back the layers the job became quite complex in a hurry. Gary and his team handled it no problem. They were professional, efficient, and well priced. There were no surprises, even though the scope of work was a little more than originally anticipated. I would recommend Gary to anyone seeking roof work. He's a quality contractor in an era where that's hard to come by.

I just got off the phone with the owner of this company and I'm in awe. I work in a male dominated industry and am used to jerks, but in 8 years, this is by far the rudest, meanest man I've ever encountered. He does poor work and doesn't stand by his work at all.

I called as a concerned homeowner. He did some work on my roof a few weeks ago and after the most recent rain, the water is starting to pool like it did before the roof was repaired. Before I could even finish telling him my concern, he cut me off and said ""the roof is fine. have a nice day."" I'm a young, cut to the chase person so it wasn't like I was dragging on. The jerk cut me off mid-sentence! Not the type of customer service you expect from a contractor. He then continues to explain the listing agent hired him so he doesn't have to fix anything for me...even though I purchased the home a week after the roof was repaired and the roof is about 3 weeks old and is already having problems.

There are a ton of roofing companies out there that have good customer service, stand behind their work, and are nice people. I'd avoid doing work with this company...you will regret it.
