Awful, awful experience. Started the job MONTHS after the promised date. Did not honor the quoted price. Added items WITHOUT notice. Never returned phone calls. Workman getting high on the job. Workmen breaking our things. Workmen getting into a fist fight. The company added about 2K of materials to the job without notice or clearance. Then when I refused to pay for all the extra stuff, they tried to sue me.

Not Honoring Their Roof Warranty
I have been calling them for 4 weeks about leaks in my roof that are supposed to be under warranty...
I have my roof bulging in one place and water spots in 2 places in my living room... Sheetrock is wet and stained...
They have yet to call me back...

We were very happy with the new roof from Sun Coast. Quality roofing materials, in fact the city inspector was impressed with the underpayment system. I do suggest you review the job with Ralph the company supervisor for Sun Coast what you expect. Our contract stated and we spoke with the crew that we were to get a ridge vent. That wasn't done but Ralph made sure it was eventually done.
We would recommend Sun Coast. Good customer service, good installation and a great product!

I recently gave Sun Coast Roofing a poor rating for my installation and delays of work completed, HOWEVER I am rescinding my harsh words as the owner Rick and his team have given a heart felt apology and a deeply appreciated and unsolicited restitution for our inconvenience....Sun Coast roofing is a class act and does care for their customers...Moving forward I will recommend them to my contacts and friends...

I have never in my life wrote a review for a company in a negative way. But after yesterday I could not believe what happen to me and niece after we were driving out of the public super market parking lot off of 30th street in Edgewater. As we come to the stop sign a SUNCOAST ROOFING TRUCK leaving the LIQUOR STORE pulled out right in front of me causing me to slam on my brakes. So it's very clear to me he was to impaired to be driving. Now, as i kept my distance the man driving comes to a complete stop before making a right hand turn. He then threw a bottle of something clear at my vehicle before making an abrupted right turn. I did make that turn to follow to get a picture of the license plate. I have never felt more scared in my life. If these are the kind of worker's that SUNCOAST ROOFING employees. I would never ever have them come to my home. Be on the look out for this company. If this guy does this just driving. What would he or could do to our homes? Now I know to make sure, do the research on who the owners are and who their employees are. Very, very, scary would never hire this company.

The worst contractor I have ever dealt with. I don't even like giving them a 1star. Promptness-F , Cleanliness-F, doing what they say they will do-F, finished product/workmanship-F, and Communication-F. It doesn't matter what you say or how bad the roof looks ,they fall back on ""the roof past inspection"". Hence , If you like a mess and a crooked looking roof hire this company.

Horrible company. Contracted in 2016 for 7 roofs. Leaks right from the start. 1 building suffered major water damage when the crew left during a rain storm without protecting the building. Employees fighting on site. To date still have not received warranties. No response for requests for warranty paper work or repairs. Run, Run, Run.....

took almost a year to get them to do roof.. finally had to report them ti the dept of professional regulation....Even a letter from lawyer did nothing.

We put $1,000 down & signed a contract for a roof in Feb. 2018. Zak told us around May. That's fine. My husband called & Zak said, "" June"". That's fine. Husband called in June, Zak said, ""July"". That's fine. Husband called in July, Zak said, ""August"". Still fine. Husband called in August,spoke with Daniel, ""he said couple of weeks"". Not fine anymore. Husband called back, spoke with Danielle she said, ""couple of weeks"". Still
not fine. Nobody returns calls from Suncoast Roofing. September I called, spoke with Danielle, she said 2 weeks. I called back after 2 weeks she said 2 weeks, again. Still not fine. October I asked to speak to manager, Kevin, or have him call me. no response. I called back after 2 weeks, spoke to Nancy. Kevin came to phone & said Monday, Oct. 15th he will be over to do roof. Kevin never callled, it's Tue. Still waiting 8 months later. The staff doesn't communicate. No one ever calls back. I will call or email owner Rick on Wed. & see if this company will finally be responsible & follow through. We'll see. I'm disgusted with their unprofessional ways. Zero rating, but I must put 1 star to post...
