Having worked in construction since 1991, I founded Summit Green Solutions in 2008 to provide energy-efficient solutions for residences and businesses.
Spray foam insulation has become our offerings. Our team has placed spray foam in thousands homes throughout the Augusta area. Customers experience the better comfort of their residences right away. In addition, they appreciate the lower utility bills each month!
In addition, we install spray foam insulation for commercial buildings, boosting their performance with sealed insulation.
Over the years, we have grown our commercial roofing division. We provide the most advanced innovations in roofing solutions for both businesses. Our team has installed cost-effective silicone roof coatings on a wide range of buildings, from educational institutions, healthcare facilities, malls, and community centers to compact residential sunrooms. Customers love their watertight roofs while boosting the energy efficiency of their structures.
Being part of the construction field since 1991, I have witnessed a change in the industry regarding energy efficiency and the acceptance of tight construction. I joined in the green building movement in the 1990s. At that time, builders were hesitant to accept the idea of sealed construction. They stressed that buildings must “breathe”, and attics needed air passages for ventilation.
Today, builders recognize that by insulating spray foam insulation, they can significantly enhance the comfort and efficiency of their buildings. In place of relying on uncontrolled leaks for fresh air, they utilize designed mechanical systems to bring in fresh air into the building. As a result of this acceptance of spray foam insulation, we have installed spray foam insulation in numerous homes in the Augusta area. I take great pleasure in seeing my homeowners experience the quick satisfaction of having a comfortable home.

I recently had Summit Green Solutions do the roof of my commercial building. BEWARE do you use this company. Whatley Bush presents himself like he is a roofing company. He is not. He subs contracts the work out. He did this with me and then did not pay his subcontractors. As a result of this I have a property lien on my building and no warranty!! I know of two other businesses in the same town that he has done this to. Frankly I am surprised he can get anyone to do work for him. I cannot stress enough do not use him!!

Currently in the process of Filing legal action through Small Claims Court against Whatley Bush/Summit Green Solutions for a refund. I had to cease the job and hire another contractor and roofer and he would not give me my money back. He sent an inexperienced crew to repair a 100 year old home roof decking/fascia boards that admitted to me they had NEVER worked with them and their reply"" We are figuring it out as we go along""... NOT acceptable when a company has $13,825 and also not acceptable is a Crew with NO TOOLS.. they literally showed up the second day with a NEW Black/Decker combo box with a saw/drill and a new blower.. I have photos!!!! I had to loan them an extension cord and two tables for saw horses???? You can see in the photos, the botched cut on a MASSIVE fascia board that supports the front structure of my home... they shoved a shim and put putty and paint to hide, I had taken a stick to push up on the boards to see if secure and a caulk gun fell over and almost hit me in the head.... Tons of other botched photos... and NO, he would not refund me when I ceased the job, but said ""He had the legal right to finish the job"" I told him he would not step back on my property except to get his tools.. No One has the legal right to do a negligent job and I have the contact info for everyone that was on site.. Also, this Fascia board was NEVER attached, probably because they didn't have a nail gun, and they had already started putting decking on top of it... I had a new contractor and family members that told me, those boards could have fallen and killed someone and recommended that I cease the job immediately, as no telling what will be done that I can't see..I had holes on my roof exposing my attic for 6 days till I went and bought tarps myself. The rest of the roof photos are just as bad and scary... When you have other contractors come out and TURN DOWN a job because they are fearful to go behind them, that's bad....BE CAREFUL hiring this company, READ reviews, TAKE photos, before, DURING and after ..Customer service was GREAT when I called him for an Estimate and when he got his check for deposit, but after that, it really deteriorates... he didn't even come out to inspect why I fired him? that's sad...

We're very pleased with this company repairing our sunroom leak. From the initial appointment to completion, the owner and his repair team were prompt and efficient. With heavy rains predicted, they actually were able to rearrange their schedule to accommodate the repair before originally scheduled. A big thumbs up, no more leaks! Thank you for a job well

We recently used Summit Green Solutions for our foam insulation. We met with Whatley Bush in mid-October and they started working on the designated day. The workers (Daniel and Daniel), were extremely professional and hard working. They started as early as we were ok with and left late in the evening. We are early risers so they started between 0600 and 0700 every day and worked late. We were first and foremost extremely amazed at the true strong work ethics of these men. Cleaned up before they left daily and left also cleaning up after themselves. We have to give them a Five Stars for this.
We wanted to wait a month to actually write the review to really see how our new foam insulation would help. However we knew in the first week that we had made the right decision to go with Summit Green Solutions! Previously our 4400 sq. foot home had either the AC or Heat seemingly to run all the time. Now our home is so well insulated, the heat does not run as much as last year. The ONLY regret we have, is that we did not do this last year! While it may cost you now to put it in, it will save you $$$ in the long run for AC/Heat! We cannot recommend this company enough!!!

Our church recently had SGS install the spray foam in the attic over our auditorium. We have had some serious issues with cooling in the past and were looking for something that could help. Since SGS installed the spray foam insulation, we have noticed a big difference in the fact it has been easier to cool our church. The spray foam has been amazing! Our attic is significantly cooler thus making it easier to maintain a comfortable temperature in the auditorium. We haven't seen a significant decrease in our power bill as yet, mainly because we haven't had the foam installed very long, but we are anticipating some decrease.

If you think Mr. Bush's services were ""wonderful, wonderful, wonderful"", then don't read any further. But that certainly wasn't our experience.
We contracted with Bush's business to have foam injected into our wall cavities for thermal and sound insulation. We agreed in writing on the 1) price, and 2) the product to be injected. On the day of installation, the crew showed up with a completely different product. Then the crew chief and installer took off, leaving the work to two well-meaning, but inept kids. They drilled into our main electrical line. OMG!! Luckily no fires or electrocutions. Lastly, Mr. Bush tried to charge more than we contracted for. The guy has serious nerve when it comes to money. BTW, the ""igloo spray foam"" was quoted as $4000 for 1500sqft. Not cheap. IF your house is bigger, do the math.

Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful! Whatley Bush came out the same day we called him, gave us a quick estimate, and less than two weeks later I was saving money on my energy bill! I had the same problem with my upstairs, it wouldn't go below 80 degrees. After the spray foam insulation was installed in my attic, my upstairs is the coolest place in the house. Some might even call it an ""Igloo cooler""! We're even planning on having our crawl space done in time for Winter.

Not impressed.
- They were late and unorganized.
- Unskilled workers were left unsupervised to cut holes into my brand new house - causing damage.
- The product installed was not the product ordered. While similar, it was not meant for addressing the issue we needed it for.
- We were told our house would be left perfect, it wasn't even close and they never came back to touch up, despite a promise to.
- The owner, Whatley Bush, gave us a written quote, then tried to charge us more.
