Over the last few years, I've patched the roof as I discovered leaks knowing I was only delaying the inevitable, a new roof. A leak in the sunroom was no big deal which resulted in a simple patch. A leak in the unused corner of the living room no big deal which resulted in a simple patch. However a leak in the bedroom during several days of hard rain put me in high alert. I spoke to a coworker to ask for a recommendation, who without hesitation, recommended Eddie with Summer Breeze Roofing.

I phoned Eddie and he answered on the first try. He responded to my home and evaluated the damage. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and thoughtful about the replacement of my roof. He handled everything which was a relief off my already heavily burdened plate with other things in my life I had to manage. Eddie and Nick kept constant communication with me in reference to the project from start to finish. The crew arrive by 7 AM and began replacing the room. At the conclusion of each day, they did a thorough job cleaning the area of debris. They worked quickly and did an amazing job following up and addressing my concerns.

Overall my new roof looks great. All I have left is some touch up paint on the replaced wood. I definitely recommend Summer Breeze Roofing for your roofing needs.

In Feb of 2020, we had our 40 year old concrete tile roof replaced by Summer Breeze Roofing. We cannot find enough good things to say about this company. Not only did they have the lowest bid of the four that we got, their bid included all materials. If there was wood decking that needed replacement (which there was) it was included. Other bids that we received included some replacement material but left an opening for additional change order costs. Another great practice of Summer Breeze is they did not need any money down whereas all other companies wanted 50% down before the tile would be ordered. Bud did our quote, and he worked with us to refine requirements on getting new replacement skylights and an additional sun tunnel skylight. By the way, if you are getting a new roof, you should really consider adding sun tunnels as it is a great way to brighten a room at relatively low cost. Nick did a good job in the home office keeping us informed as to the scheduling of the delivery of the tile and when installation would begin. Alex and his install crew did an amazing job of removal of the old roof, installation of new, and cleanup. Besides being low bid, our decision to award the job to Summer Breeze was driven by the fact that they allowed us to got to ABC Supply and pay for the materials directly using a credit card which allowed us to get frequent flier miles at no additional cost. This was a new practice for Summer Breeze, but it worked out very well for us. Lastly, if you are having trouble picking a replacement tile style/color, we would recommend the Eagle Tile Design Center in Altamonte Springs.

I tried to set up an appointment with this company . They could not find my House. I was willing to send them the map, but since they could not find my place they decided to blow me off. A company that shows this regards to a potential customer is not a company I would recommend. I would assume if they did do a job for you they would blow you off if there were customer service issues. The rep felt rushed and not willing to give service over and above. I would recommend to stay away from this company and find a company that truly cares about helping you.

BUYER BEWARE!!!

We contracted summer breeze to do our roof at a property in snell isle in September 2017. They came and completed the project but within 18 months there was a leak in the roof that leaked into the house. We reported this to summer breeze, considering the roof was under 2 years old and they give you a ""lifetime warranty"" and now are sitting almost 3 months later with a leak and now additional damage to the house since they have yet to come out and repair the issue. We have been feed excuse after excuse yet they have still not completed the work they are accountable for doing. We are still attempting to get this issue rectified and I will update this review if that happens.

We had a rough start with these folks due to a new sales person, but the owner, Eddie, came through afterward and handled everything well. They were quite earnest in resolving our initial issues and were rather accommodating with financing.

The owner, Eddie was referred to me by a mutual friend in the construction business. I made an appointment. No one showed up or called. I called them and made another appointment. No one showed up again. On both those occasions when I called them I got the same lame excuse. Someone did show up for the third appointment (late) and gave me an estimate. I agreed to the estimate. That was the last I heard from them until more than a month later when I called them. I scheduled another appointment -- of course no one showed or called. Reluctantly, since they were referred by a friend, I schedule one last appointment. What a waste of my time, of course no showed or called. I called and left a voice message to forget about it. These people do not keep appointments, honor their commitments, nor have the faintest idea about good customer service. Unless you like being frustrated, get anyone else to service your roof.

Where to begin. Let me start by saying I was impressed by Eddie's prompt and quick response to scheduling a quote. From there it became a unreliable nightmare. He quickly made a time same day to do a quote that he also quickly rescheduled only 15 min before expected arrival. I understand things come up, so we rescheduled to two hours later which was 8 pm. At 8:15 I called HIM and he gave me a nice long drawn out explanation about traffic. He promised he'd make it up, that he is highly competitive and wanted one more chance. I asked him to give me a time to ensure the best possibility of him keeping the appointment. He stressed how I was his priority and whatever time I give him he'd be here. Mind you, at this time I explained to him, we didn't live at the address so it is a big hassle of driving to the location. We decided on 5 pm. I'm sure you can guess what happened right around 5:15. Traffic, according to Eddie, traffic. Ironically, I could hear echoing in the background giving me the suspicion, he was in a house. He said he was 20 min out, I told him if he wasn't here in 20 min I would not be extending myself anymore and we would not be doing business. 20 min later, he couldn't even call me, he sent a text message saying he was here earlier and measured while we were working. The funny part is although we don't live at the residence, my mother and sister in law do, who just so happened be home all day. No one was here to measure. I tried calling Eddie who decide to not answer my call. I understand some things come up, I understand not all companies/ customers will agree on things, I also understand its hard quoting and working a business. What I DO NOT understand is lies and deceitful behavior, hence my effort in writing this review. I am saddened and disappointed in Eddie as well as his employees due to his behaviors. If anyone has questions or concerns about my post feel free too contact me as I have kept the text messages.

This family business provided us an excellent product at a great price. The completed the roof quickly and also provided repairs on the supporting structures around the roof. They were prompt, cleaned up after themselves and worked efficiently. I would use them for another project when it is time to replace the roof on my home, as they did my garage and guest house.
