In August of 2019 we had a new roof put on because of the wind storm that hit North Dallas in June. The task of finding a roofer with honesty and integrity was daunting! I interviewed about 5 or at least tried to. Some never call back and some were just beyond expensive! A friend recommended Striker. A man came over and went over everything and my husband made the decision to go with them. Now, let me first say that my husband is NEVER pleased with contractors...EVER! He is like MacGuyver and can do and fix pretty much everything with precision but not a roof and not in August! He ends up yelling at contractors because of the shoddy workmanship and no attention to detail. We also had interior water damage and structural damage because a tree went through the roof. Hail damage on fence and gutter damage as well. So the project begins and I am waiting for my husband to start finding fault as usual. Still waiting....no problems. What? As a matter of fact they ended up doing more than insurance company paid for at no extra expense to us. Who does that these days?!?!? They did have to come back about 3 times to get the ceiling texture just right in a bedroom with the water damage but it is perfect.
All in all, I can say is that Striker did an amazing job and I absolutely would recommend them...and my MacGuyver does too! Hopefully no more crazy storms for awhile.

Our house took a big hit from a hailstorm in the Spring of '19. Roof, windows, fence, gutters and our garage doors all took a beating. We had no prior experience working with any type of claims through our insurance and honestly weren't sure exactly what the next steps to take were. Hearing horror stories from neighbors about their previous experiences with roofers had us feeling unsettled.

Someone recommended I contact Erik at Striker. That recommendation saved us from what could have been months of enormous stress and headaches. Erik went WAY above and WAY beyond what he had to. From day one Erik made us feel comfortable in knowing that he could handle the job and get our home back in shape. His team was extremely professional. Every contact that I had with Striker was a pleasant one.

Everything we could have wanted plus more was provided...
- multiple trips back to our property after the job was complete to check, then double check and then triple check our lawn for any nails that may have been left behind from the roofing job.
- With us having no prior experience working with insurance claims, Erik provided counsel in helping explain the process
- Being extremely accommodating to better fit our schedule to complete all projects needed
- Erik kept us well informed of every step of the process.
- The work completed was done to perfection!!

Thankfully we have not had a big storm since this one but if it ever happens again, we will definitely be using Striker.

I chose Striker to replace my home's roof after a massive hail storm. Striker is an established company based in McKinney, TX. My sales rep Heather did a great job overseeing the job, walking me through the process and dealing with the insurance company. What was almost shocking to me was how quickly they were able to get it done: The roof was completed about a week after I received the contract from them! The crew that replaced the roof worked hard and fast and with professionalism, keeping me informed the whole time. I'm really glad I chose Striker and recommend them highly.

We had the same experience as a previous reviewer. They came out to our house, were friendly, and said they would be back to us with an estimate. Never got back to us even after we left repeated messages. Do not recommend.

Awful is the best word for them. They did a terrible job on our roof, took our money, and left the job incomplete. Repeated phone calls have led to nothing. We are thinking of taking legal action.

Do yourself a favor and look for someone else.

Very disappointed with this company and Lance Lyles in particular. He and one of his specialists came to our home in Frisco about 2.5 weeks ago. He told us the issue and said he would send a quote right over. Well, here we sit weeks later and no quote. I've called multiple times, left messages, and had the receptionist tell me she would have him contact me asap. We have yet to hear anything from him!! I guess he just doesn't want our business. Sad to have wasted my family's valuable time. We are new to Texas and are sad to see that this is how contractors treat customers! Moral of the story, there are tons of roofing companies out there. Don't waste your time with Striker!!

I was worried at first being this was my first hail damage experience. But Heather did a fantastic job coordinating everything! She worked with the money i got from my insurance to get everything fixed, roof, re stained fence, and even replaced all my gutters. I can't say enough how easy it was to get the repairs done. I'd highly recommend Striker and call Heather she'll get you all fixed up in no time.

I'm looking forward to working with them on a more projects around my home.
