Stratton repaired 2 fences and a patio cover. The work was done well but the estimating process was not. Frank inspected the patio cover and gave us an estimate which required several boards to be replaced. After the first day we suddenly got a new estimate by text, which was considerably higher. Frank came the next day and said once the work starts and some boards are removed, other issues are often found. He said he would have had to scrape some paint off to find the additional dry rot and we'd have been upset with the damaged paint. He knew the whole thing was going to be repainted, so chipping the paint was a moot point. If half the boards were visibly rotted, it would seem reasonable to check the other half. Since the patio cover was already half torn down, we didn't have much choice but to continue with Stratton, and since we now knew about the additional damage we agreed to the additional repairs. One of his workers tore the patio table cover and didn't mention it. Frank deducted the replacement cost from the bill. Another worker broke a sprinkler head which we didn't find until the job was done and they were gone. We repaired it ourselves. Near the end of the job we noticed something else we wanted done which they completed at no additional cost. As previously noted, the work was done well and we would use Stratton again, but we know to make sure ALL the possible issues are covered up front and we don't get a surprise new estimate.

I was searching for tenting services for termites and bugs in my home and received several responses from different companies. Unfortunately, some quotes were too expensive, others were vague, and some companies only wanted to offer localized treatments. Luckily, I found Stratton Termite a local company in Bellflower through Yelp. I called and left a message and received an immediate response from Frank.

Frank took the time to listen to my needs, explained the process in detail, and made me feel comfortable with the quality and value he would provide. His team followed the schedule he laid out for me, including coordinating with the gas company to turn the gas off and on at the right times. I would not hesitate to use his professional service again.

Frank is my man when it comes to roofing. Frank was easy to communicate with and delivered beyond my expectation. My house had a wood shake roof along with a layer asphalt shingles, an entire strip was required down to the ceiling joists. Not a pleasant job, granted a smaller house, but they had it stripped in one day. We went back and forth on shingles due to my color choices and availability and settled on a Corning product that looks great.
Pricing was on the lower level of bids received and very happy with the results, see photos. One thing I would like to note is how hard replacing a roof is. I come with a construction background, roofing is probably one of the top 3 hardest jobs in this field.

I also hired Frank to termite my house after the new roof. Was a little overwhelmed with the prep, bagging almost everything in the kitchen and bathrooms, but this is part of process. Gave me a chance to get rid of items not used or needed in the couple of years. Beyond the prep and moving out for couple days, everything else was painless. Frank also sent a crew of two to assist with some termite damage and they also did a great job.

Overall, give Frank at Stratton a call, takes great pride in his company's work and customer satisfaction, BTW, he will call you back. I have no problem with Frank sharing my address and have people drive by to his work.

I hired Stratton again to re-build lattice around the perimeter of my home that had extensive dryrot and termite damage. Frank provided his professional opinion on the proper approach and correct materials to use. He engineered a solution to avoid completely replacing all the lattice panels which worked out great and no doubt saved me alot of unnecessary expence. Not to my surprise, additional damage was revealed as the old lattice began to come down. Frank was excellent at advising me promptly with his recommendations on how to address these areas. The result is a well built fence topper that is sure to last for years. All it needs now is to be painted.
