I found Straight Line Construction here on Yelp while searching for a roofing company for my grandparents. My grandparents were in desperate need of a new roof and I wanted to make sure I found the best company with truly honest people. I definitely found that in Straight Line! We first met with Shaun who explained everything to us perfectly. After meeting with Shaun, I had no doubt that this was the best company for the job! I immediately felt like we could trust the Straight Line Team, which is not an easy feeling to come by with most roofing companies. They are a very busy company so we did have to wait a few months to get the roof done but I felt like that was a true testament to what an amazing company they are. I mean, if you book a roofer and he is available the next day, wouldn't that seem fishy to you that they would have no other customers? So with that said, we didn't mind patiently waiting for our scheduled project date. We did have some weather delays which was annoying and obviously no one's fault but Straight Line was great keeping us updated on every rescheduled date. My grandparent's were very impressed with how tidy the crew was. There was never a loose nail, piece of wood, or trash left anywhere around the house after their day was complete. They were extremely organized and professional! We love how the roof turned out and would give them the highest recommendation to anyone. Thank you, Straight Line Team!

Prior to this latest rash of storms , I noticed that my roof had developed a leak.

I called Straight Line in Shingle Springs. Phil a Straight Line project manager came out to assess the problem. 

He climbed on the the roof and identified the problem. He he showed me pictures of the problem area and discussed a plan of action. 

I was impressed with his thoroughness and professional demeanor. 

The work was completed in a timely manner and the cost was fair. the repair work has held up to the worst storms that I have seen in years. I am satisfied and intend to use them for other projects in the future (gutters, painting, deck).

Straight Line did my roof 10 years ago and gutters. I've been trouble free for that time frame. This year had a leak. They have a 5 year workmanship guarantee. They were very responsive when I called and scheduled someone to come out within a short time frame. Sadly, the first attempt didn't fix the roof. Called again. Michelle was quick to re-arrange someone to come out within 2 days which I thought was reasonable. The person made some additional adjustments and ran a hose over the roof to show nothing was leaking at that moment. The first rain storm after that repair came the next day and the leak had moved further down the roof so still not fixed. I'm under the impression the leak was near the downspout or how the downspout was running off the roof at the top was somehow entering under the top shingles so I don't think the water directly on the shingles of the roof was the right test. I ended up calling a neighbor to try to help me figure out the problem. I had 4 layers of tarp over the roof and still not resolved. With some roofer's putty, my neighbor was able to fix the leak. I give 3 stars for responsiveness and effort but ultimately failed at the repair. This summer, I'm expecting to replace that section and will likely replace the gutter. I will still call them for an estimate because I think they do have good people and I was good for the first 10 years. Just disappointed with this effort and that I was out the money without a fix. Thank goodness for crafty neighbors.

They were extremely prompt and professional. They sent someone over promptly and provided an estimate. If I had a nit, it was that the quote wasn't too detailed. However, when i called the person who came over to provide the quote he did go over it on the phone. The office staff were very friendly and courteous. The team was extremely professional and did a great job. I wish all contractors worked as well and were as prompt as this team. Kudos to the staff.

We had Straight Line come out and repair our leaky roof around a skylight. They were prompt, polite and professional. I was kept informed of the progress and shown pictures of the work in progress after it was completed. They cleaned up afterward and everything looks great. We look forward to having them build our new deck.

They returned my call simply to say that they don't service my area. Obviously I didn't use their services, but the 5 stars goes to the people in the office holding down the fort. Very courteous and returned my call the same day.

It went amazingly! The workers arrived on time and were totally professional while still remaining friendly throughout the entire process. The work was finished in one day and they left the house completely undisturbed and just as tidy as before! We had to have our roof repaired because it had some structural problems and a crack was visible inside the house and when it was fixed it was as good as new!

My husband and I had a very positive experience with Straight Line Construction from getting an estimate to replace some of our Sloughhouse/Rancho Murieta home siding to getting the work completed. There was quite a bit of lead time needed for both getting the estimate and scheduling the work, but good companies are busy. I don't mind waiting to get a job done right, the first time. When the job was completed more quickly than estimated, they took the time to do some caulking on other areas of the house which was not included in the agreement. They also showed my husband how to use the special caulk and left a couple of tubes with him. Yes, they are on the higher end of what others might bid to do the job, but I am willing to pay for high quality work. I highly recommend Straight Line Construction and will use them again if the need arises.

Love Straight Line! They re-sided, re-roofed and re-windowed our barn/shop this year (2016), making it look like new. They're affiliated with an outstanding fencing supplier and great painting contractor (Malone's Painting). All very competent people, with good attention to detail as well as safety. Unfortunately they only do ""outsides"" - but they do those very well. I'd hire them back in a heartbeat.
