About 10 years ago, Pat did our roof for a very reasonable rate and I ""caught"" him being downright honest- one of his workers was on the roof, laying plywood and had done it wrong- he took the time to explain to his employee why the plywood had to be installed differently and then had him rip it up and do it again. This could have been easily covered up and never found! 5 years ago, we had a problem with rats getting into the attic- so I called Pat- he came over, found the problem and fixed it- no charge! Way past any warranty- just a good, honest person who puts in a good day of work done right! Because of this, he has done several of my friends houses and several in our neighborhood- I still have not heard anything but good accolades for his work.

This is one of happiest recommendations I've ever made for a craftsman - a real old-fashioned American craftsman. Pat Strafford is an excellent roofer. He and his crew are meticulous, and obviously dedicated to the the best technology and craftsmanship. More than that he is a super nice guy, honest and not expensive. He did a job with a few added surprises but he stuck with his original low quote - one which was half of the other guy.
