This has to be the absolute worst company I have ever had to work with in the state of Florida. The Sr. Project manager was a pompous, arrogant, and just plain rude individual who should not be working directly with clients. He took absolutely no accountability for his lack of knowledge of the scope of the work. Blaming it on the Attorney not providing information and a previous employee. Even after the attorney provided him with information on what was supposed to be included, he still tried to scam us out of almost $2,000.
He stated on so many occasions how we should be grateful we even got a new roof and that HE won us the case. He stated we didn't even get charged for using his ""preferred"" law firm. He stated we should be happy we got a FREE quote on the roof. (Funny we got three other quotes and they were all FREE but he seems to think he did us a favor)
I didn't need to work in a law firm for 12 years to know that when your insurance company denies your claim for something they are legally responsible to cover, you take them to court. Last I checked when you hire an attorney and they represent you in a case and they win the case for you, that said attorney is the one who won the case. I don't know if Storm team usually ""Charges"" for referring a law firm but to state that we didn't get charged for the referral is very telling of what kind of company you are dealing with. To state that the said Law firm works for them just because this law firm represented 6 of their previous clients is also very telling.
We are still finding nails in our mango trees, pool, yard all over, even though they said they came with a magnet to clean up. This is a danger to our animals as well as our grandkids and kids. Yes, they used a tarp a couple of times but many times they did not.
They had failed at least 3 inspections and even tried to convince the inspector to just let it pass. (We personally talked to the inspector)
I could go on and on here but I will spare you the agony and stress this has caused us. Stay far and clear from this Company unless you want to deal with a shit show. Maybe its just the Sr. Project manager we had to deal with, I don't know.
And yes they still trying to scam us out of money.

Storm Team Construction did an outstanding job with my roof replacement. Couldn't be happier.

First, Chris Mailey was Project Manager and seemlessly quarterbacked all the moving pieces. He was a great partner to work with!

Overall, Storm Team were punctual, very neat, and the crew worked so diligently in the tough south Florida summer heat, while dodging almost daily afternoon thunderstorms.

It was a great experience end-to-end... from the sales and proposal process, to the HOA and Town permitting and approvals process, to materials delivery, roof tear-off and install, daily clean-ups, Town approvals and final wrap up.

Highly recommended Storm Team Construction without reservation.

I chose Storm Team based on reviews by neighbors.
I express how disappointed I am with this company.
I had my front door a window and some sliding doors replaced with new impact PGT products. I love the product, but not the service. They did not communicate with arrival times or were often late. A job that should have been 4 days took almost 8. They had to come back to fix poor installation issues due to improper shimming and frame setting. Screens dragged and on the wrong doors. I personally had to install the front door lock because they were incapable (didn't read the directions).
I can go on.
I just wonder how many of my neighbors have improperly installed doors and don't know it.
I had planned to have them replace my roof. That is now a hard pass.
I can not in good faith recommend this company.

What a nightmare this has been from start to finish, and beyond! I deeply regret hiring Storm Team Construction to ""repair and replace"" my hurricane-damaged roof.
A word of warning to all: do not EVER let a contractor get all money due them up front. Better yet, don't sign the agreement to let a contractor negotiate with your insurance company in the first place. Get legal advice. I wish I had!

The good reviews are by Storm Teams Staff and people who are not familiar with roof repairs.
If you care about your home and want quality and actual repairs made to your roof, especially if you've had storm damage, go hire a licensed roof inspector not affiliated with or trying to sell you a roof to tell you in what condition your roof is in and what it will take to repair it. Then look for a real licensed roofer. Not a 30+ year career bank officer that somehow managed to get a roofing license 8 months ago just because he partnered up with a GC.
I know roofing... and these guys are anything but the guys you want to hire to repair a roof.. I wouldn't let them put a roof on my dog house after seeing how they work, the quality of work, and how they treat people once they discover they are not in fact getting what was promised. These guys run around pretending to be something they are not. Sell you a bill of goods that will never be fulfilled with more excuses than GOD as to why they are not.
They scam you in so many ways it's not funny. The list is long on how they do so.
In the end you'll have to find a roofing repair company to come and actually do the repairs they promised to do to the new roof you and your insurance company just paid for and Storm Team Construction installed. Several in our neighborhood have found out the hard way. It's shameful how they take advantage of unsuspecting people who know nothing about roofing, trust them and think they just had their roof repaired because they don't know quality workmanship or anything about what it takes to repair a roof properly. They are just after the insurance money, they are looking out for themselves and do NOT have you, your home, your roof interests at heart. They're friendly enough... but you're not going to be happy in the end. And though I haven't posted them here, I have plenty of photos to prove it.

I can't say enough good things about Storm Team Construction, and project manager Clay Burk. Clay was very professional, gave me a realistic estimate, unlike the very low ball unrealistic estimate from my insurance companies preferred contractor. (Perden Roofing). Clay delivered on what he said he was going to do. He negotiated with my insurance co. They came up with an agreeable figure. The crew replacing my roof were quick, and efficient. They protected my yard with tarps, cleaned up all waist in the yard to insure my pets were safe as well. Again I can't say enough good things about Clay Burk and Storm Team Contruction, and would not hesitate to hire them again.
