LindaZ, trying to update my previous review posted on 3/9/2023. Unable to post an update? We did get a response from Storm Roofing who apologized multiple times about not getting our messages. They're currently experiencing communication line problems at their office. They quickly responded when finally receiving our message. The repair was completed this morning and we're happy with the fact the problem was resolved.

So I got a quote on 12/27/22 for a sofi all around and also replace a couple shingles. I accepted the terms and been waiting for them to call me back, (fast forward today is 3/15/23) I've been trying to reach them since l to approve and get things started NO-RESPONSE! I've left numerous messages on the website and the phone STILL NO RESPONSE! and if they did RESPOND (which I know they haven't) and by some ""missed /callmessage"" chance they just happen to leave a message I apologize for missing it (but I know you haven't). I'm frustrated and they really waisted my family's time which I value now more than ever as an American war veteran who fought for this country, it saddens me that a company like this can even represent our country with no fear of retribution from their local consumers. This company has failed our community and their deserves to be action of some sort for again waisting a potential clients time and potential income from endearing family and friends in the very near future.....but that's irrelevant at this point maybe I'll finally get a call back

You actually deserve no star but unfortunately that's the lowest they'll allow

During your tenure here debris hit my pool pump and parts and be replaced on that broken screens and to boot we stepped on a nail From
poor clean up had to have a tetanus shot at the emergency room for hundreds of dollars

I hired Storm Roofing in May 2018 to perform an annual roof tune up on my clay tile roof. I also asked that they wash my roof as algae was growing on my roof. They repaired the tiles, mostly gluing back broken whole pieces and then pressure washed my roof. I was coached into a pressure wash as the soft wash method was discouraged. OK. After they were done, it looked good. 9-12 months later, the black algae reappeared and in June 2019, 13 months after, I was cited by my HOA for a roof violation. 3 of my neighbors on my same block had their roofs all washed in May 2018 from a different company. Today their roofs still look almost as good, albeit some mold is starting to appear. The owner of Storm Roofing called me and immediately started coming up with excuses as to why this happened without hearing me out. I expressed frustration and he tried to offer an option for which I still haven't heard back from him with. I now will be looking elsewhere for any roof work as I feel the owner of this company gave me a very negative feeling. After all, I as a consumer, do have choices. After shopping around, I realized I paid 10-15% more for their service.

Good and bad.
First the good, they provided an estimate for some repairs. I later requested and scheduled the work to be done. They didn't show up till I called several hours after the scheduled time. Nice guys but actual work was only a little over a half hour. Wish I could make that kind of money! Went up on the roof afterwards and wish I had done it myself. Still loose tiles, others were quickly patched with some cement or calking. I'll need to go up and finish the job. Overall I want to be reasonable that they are in business and have expenses but you want a good job to be done. Not to be cynical but there may not be much better out there these days, it's all about the money.

Called to have cement tiles repaired or replaced after Irma. Had to leave message but he did call right back. He sent Tyler over that same day, and he fixed a few things but needed some new tiles. He took one of my broken ones, left, came back awhile later, and determined that his replacements weren't the right size. Said he'd keep looking. I had to pay him for what he'd done, and he never returned. I called and texted him, and called the main number, but nothing. And he still has my piece of tile.

We had ceiling stains and soffit problems before latest hurricane...these folks showed up on time, their estimate was reasonable, and they quickly located and repaired several leaks in our aging asphalt roof. Professional work, nice people to deal with. Would recommend them to anyone.

I called and left a message. Barry called me back the same day. He said he was in the area and could stop by in an hour. I explained to him that my husband and I work and that my husband would be home after a certain time that day and a specific time the next. He said ok, I will let you know when I will come. No call that day but then the next day around 4:50pm (20 minutes after I told them I could meet them) Tyler called me and said he was leaving south Venice & could head to my house in north Sarasota then. I told him I was already out of my house. He said ok no problem, can you meet tomorrow after work. I told him that would be great! The time we set up to meet came & went, no Tyler and no phone call. About 2 hours after he was supposed to show up, he called and apologized said they were short handed. Asked if I could meet yesterday, I said that would be fine but was a little skeptical because of what happened, he assured me that he would be there. Well, yesterday has come & gone, Tyler did not show up and still has yet to call.

Doing my best to give this company a chance.. they agreed to work with me to help keep the project within my budget. I am grateful. However the rep has told me multiple times he is coming and not showed (thus I missed a fair amount of work). Then the job was not complete and he asked me for a check. Told him I would pay him for completed work. Asked him to show me the work (was willing to climb a roof to see) and he can't seem to meet me. Has asked me to meet him??? Apparently the work is complete so I climbed the roof to check.. none of the tiles he replaced match. They were painted ""almond"" when the clay tile roof is a pinkish red. Albeit my roof is 15yrs old and the tiles have become darker from wear but almond is not remotely close. I will now have to hire someone else to correct the problem before my HOA enforces a fine. I left a check for them to pick up and one 3 occasions was texted that they would be by and the check is still where I left it. The rep is nice but the customer service and communication is epically horrible and unprofessional. I had hopes that they were nice, hardworking and communicative but unfortunately that's completely diminished. I wish I could insert pics but app does not allow..
