Kim C.I called Storm Restoration and spoke with Carolina about coming to my home for an estimate for roof repair. She came to my house with someone who inspected the roof, found hail damage and my husband discussed the repairs we were interested in. When they figured out we did not want an entirely new roof or couldn't interest us in working with an insurance company, they left promising an estimate for the repair and then we never heard from them again. (It's been over a month.) I don't think this is a very professional model for doing business this way, but there seems to be a trend of business owners not having the courage to have an open, honest conversation about what they cannot/do not wish to provide. It wastes the customer's time and the business's integrity and breeds distrust and frustration with the entire industry.
