We have dealt with over a half dozen roofing outfits in Anchorage & the Valley over the years. Shingles, torch down, metal & hot tar. All the rest of them put together don't measure up to Stormproof. Quick response from day 1, bid was fair and did not change even after we made an alteration to the job scope. They showed up everyday rain, snow or sun. Great communication & daily videos of what was going on up on the roof. The crew was friendly and professional. They did a perimeter cleanup at the end of everyday & during the day as well. The most telling part was the metal flashing we changed after the original bid was ready for install and Steve didn't like the angle on it going into the gutters. He shut The whole project down and ordered all new metal. We were fighting the weather everyday ' they were trying to get the work done & finish the job and he was willing to stop everything to make sure it was done right. I don't think most contractors would do that. With Steve we felt like we had our own quality control person up there two stories up making sure it was all being done right. There's only one roofing company you need to call - Stormproof !!

If you need roofing done you don't need to look any further. From the first visit by Matt to get specs for a bid to the last tail light of the last truck leaving the driveway, everything was done in a professional and timely manner. The price was more than fair, the materials used were top notch, the job was done AHEAD of schedule, the communication was timely and continuous, they showed up with everything and everyone they needed to do the job, and there were no last minute ""Oh, we forgot our..."" moments. They said they would finish in a day and they did. Matt sent pics of the progress throughout the day and didn't try to sell me on any unnecessary work like the last roofing company did after an insurance repair. Matt himself made sure my deck was cleaned off after they finished and spent quite a bit of time after everyone else had left walking around the perimeter of the house picking up every last little bit of debris.

I really can't say enough good things about this company and the work they do. I rarely recommend anyone as that usually backfires, but my son used them before me and had identical results so I feel safe in telling people to use them

This company is the most stand up company we've ever worked with! Steve is kind, knowledgeable, does what he says he'll do, and actually cares about his customers!
We emailed him this morning at 8am (Sunday!) about a roof leak- he emailed back within the hour, gave us his cell phone number and was at our house within the next hour. He stayed at our home working to fix the problem for over two hours. Super nice guy who does quality work!

I have used Steve (& now his son) for about 20 years for roofing, decks, window & sliding glass door replacements. I have also referred Steve to many friends who have been happy as I am with his work. The work is not only excellent but no mess is left. Steve covered everything in my 3 bedrooms when they replaced windows & doors. No dust, no nails etc. All furniture replaced as it was when they came to do the work. They had to cut holes in wall as windows needed to be enlarged for egress issues. In fact he is going to replace the windows in the fron of the house soon. Janet Mischler

These guys are the best. They are honest to the core, and ABSOLUTELY did the right thing by me. The quality of workmanship and materials is second to none. Steve was up front and honest from the get go. He set a timeline and stuck to it, no runaround at all. Once Steve and Mat started both projects I hired them for, they worked only for me until they were finished. They charged me exactly what was quoted with no hidden costs at all. In fact I'm pretty sure they went over the material budget on both projects. They transformed my house in a matter of days. I couldn't be happier with my brand new roof and deck. Don't let their low estimates fool you, these guys are legit!!
