BEWARE !! Stay away from the company. After the ice storms in Texas in Feb 2021 which resulted in busted pipe on my rental property and related property damage, I was introduced to Storm defenders exteriors and their owner James cosper who told me they will work with the insurance and fix the whole property in next 3-4 weeks. The fixing included water restoration and build back. Fast forward to 2 and half months, nothing significant has been done on the property despite James taking 9000 dollars so far for materials and advance for the build back. James refuses to communicate any plans of work or for refund despite taking the money in advance and not performing any significant actions for the restoration. He just commits a random date every time and then there is absolutely no action on the date. The only activity that has been done so far is the cutting of sheetrock and removal of floors. No proof has been provided to the insurance for any water damage mitigation so there is nothing that insurance will pay for this half work that has been done by Storm defenders. James only communicated when he wanted the advance and was very active in communicating until the check was cleared with false promises that buildback will be done in 10 days. He had no intention to do any work. He is not even paying his subcontractors as can be also seen on facebook posts as well as there are several other customers he has left in same situation. Please stay away from this business.

Jennifer with Storm Defender Exteriors did a great job getting my house fixed up and everything back to normal after a pipe break flooded my whole house! Very easy process.

Ok, I don't normally write reviews especially for contractors because you never know. But I just have to share my experience! This company was so easy to work with and kept me well informed on the process and the timeline! I worked with Kyle, he came by and did my inspection in about an hour or so, and I had my roof replaced super quick. No back and forth with your insurance and no hassle. I recommended my neighbor too, give them a try and ask for Kyle! Thanks again!

This company hired to fix our roof never came on the days they promised. DAY! Not an hour late or something. Literally DAYS. I wouldn't know when they were coming bc they never actually showed up on the days they said they would come. Follow up was horrible and on top of it all, they are not standing behind their warranty. Buyer beware!

This company replaced our roof and seems to have gotten the job done but I wouldn't recommend them because they really lack follow through. You never know when they'll actually show up for any appointment (might be hours or days late), and as soon as they got paid they took the money and ran without giving us the final walkthrough they'd promised and seemingly without paying one of their subcontractors who did a bunch of work here. On the whole it left us with a slimy feeling after dealing with their main guy James Cosper, so if you work with them be aware that you may have to deal with shoddy customer service and lack of integrity.

I met with justin and we discussed the wind damaged to my roof! He was very helpful and communication was easy. He helped me get a solid roof and helped me with the whole process of the claim! The roofing people came out in the morning and was done mid afternoon! Quick work and all the lines on the roof were straight! I would highly recommend him and his company stormdefenders and exteriors to anyone of my friends! Truly professional and easy to work with! Thanks for the roof and hard work on making my home look great again!
